The Trump Derangement Syndrome Rant

     Our country is now in the throes of a deep-seated, pervasive, and pernicious disease which is largely mental but with definite and closely related physical manifestations.  This illness seems to be spreading and is completely nondiscriminatory.  Rich and poor alike are vulnerable to its ravages as are those in our shrinking middle class.  It effects black, white, and everything in between.  No ethnic group or religion is immune and it is completely gender neutral.  Democrats and Republicans are infected by it as are Liberals, Conservatives, Independents and any other political affiliation you can name or identify.  Liberal-Democrats are, of course, are infected with the malady more than any other faction in our society and those members of the LFE (Liberal Fucking Elite) have gone completely bat-shit nuts!  They have totally lost any ability to think rationally or maintain any link with reality.  The disease literally eats away at the brain and those who suffer from it desperately require intensive psychological counseling and perhaps institutionalization along with massive doses of psychotropic medication just to keep them beyond the reach of those men in the white coats.

 

     Perhaps this illness is most noticeable and easily discernable in our nation’s colleges and universities as well as our primary and secondary schools.  American children have been for many decades now victims of the LFE and their Far Left ideological brainwashing (see The Activism And The Demise Of The American University Rant of 3/13/16 or The Anti-Americanism In Our Public Schools Rant of 6/29/11).  Our educational system at all levels from top to bottom has been captured by Far Left teachers, professors, and administrators.  They are thoroughly and totally consumed by the malady and maliciously and purposely poison the young minds of their vulnerable charges with it.  They do this gleefully and with malice aforethought and are perfectly willing to sacrifice the minds of our youngsters on the alter of their hateful Liberal ideology.  They do not teach but rather indoctrinate.  They do not educate but instead inculcate.  They have literally destroyed the ability of generations of young Americans to think critically and independently but have created hordes of mind-numbed lemmings perfectly willing to follow their leaders right over the cliff.

     Exactly who are these leaders, you may ask?  If you don’t already know the answer to that question then you are likely to become a victim of the affliction being considered here.  These leaders are those on the Far Left in our country and they take their marching orders from America’s Liberal Fucking Elite.  They loathe and despise this country with a hatred that is nothing less than pathological.  There is nothing about the United States that they find the least bit praise-worthy, admirable, or deserving of emulation.  According to them, America is the worst blight in planetary history and we represent nothing less than evil personified.  We are the cause of all the world’s evils and ills and they fervently wish to destroy us as historically founded and presently constituted.  Their hatred for America is boundless and all-consuming.  It is literally the be-all and end-all of their very existence.  It is their reason for living and that hatred is what animates them and gives them both purpose and direction.  They absolutely cannot and will not recognize the fact that the United States has been the greatest force for good in the history of mankind or that the concept of American Exceptionalism is real and valid.  They will not accept the obvious fact that without this nation, the world would be a much darker and far more sinister place.  These anti-American scum-bags just can’t get it through their teeny, tiny, warped little minds that the United States represents the very best that mankind has to offer.  We are the epitome of freedom, optimism, and opportunity and we are indeed humanity’s last best hope.

     All of these folks have a number distinctive traits in common besides a deep hatred of their own country.  They are all completely irrational and absolutely incapable of independent or creative thought.  They are all subject to severe and outlandish temper tantrums when they don’t get what they want or demand.  Each and every one of them displays what can only be termed as a herd mentality and they present themselves as the ultimate victims who life has treated unfairly.  They whine constantly and continuously and with little or no provocation are prone to extreme violence and destructive behavior.

     They are incapable of engaging in rational, open, and honest debate with those whom they disagree and can do no more than shout opponents down and shut them up.  They don’t recognize anyone’s First Amendment rights save their own.  Only they have the right to freedom of speech or expression and only they have a so-called right to their own opinions regardless of how uninformed and wrong-headed they might be.  In addition, they are forever and permanently angry.  After all, they are Far Left Liberals and anger is always their default position.  It is built into their DNA and helps define who and what they are.  Each and every one of them is permanently constipated and this condition has affected their ability to engage in reasonable thought and intelligent conversation.  They are all paranoid to the point of irrationality and see potential enemies behind every rock and tree.  They are filled with a blind and all-consuming rage that precludes anything remotely resembling clear-headed and well developed arguments or actions.  They constitute nothing more than a mindless mob awaiting marching orders from their demagogic leadership.  They bring to mind the lynch mobs portrayed in so many of the “Westerns” we watch on TV or perhaps the Jacobins after the French Revolution led by the mad monk Robespierre.  They care nothing for America, its history, traditions, or institutions.

     All of these folks suffer from a debilitating malady correctly labeled Trump Derangement Syndrome or TDS.  This is not the first time we have witnessed such an illness.  There was an outbreak during the Reagan years and during George W. Bush’s Presidency.  These two previous incarnations were mild – even bland – compared to what’s occurring under our 45^th President.  Mr. Trump is roundly hated, loathed, and despised by virtually every Democrat in Congress as well as the general public.  This is to be expected.  These folks view Trump as not merely a political opponent with programs and policies with which they disagree.  It goes far deeper than that.  They view the President as evil, dangerous, and completely out of control.  They believe the man is deranged and suffers from any number of psychoses and neuroses.  They see him as unpredictable and uncontrollable and will do everything in their power to disrupt or destroy his Presidency.

     These folks began calling for his impeachment from the moment he was sworn into office.  They all know that impeachment can only be employed if the man has committed those high crimes and misdemeanors referred to in the Constitution.  Trump has committed neither but that matters not one iota to those afflicted with TDS.  The disease is all-consuming and affects their every waking moment.  They eat, sleep, and dream of ways to destroy Trump and render his presidency completely impotent.  To them he is the enemy and as such must be vilified and dehumanized.  He must be continuously lambasted and lampooned.  His entire family must be attacked, humiliated, and embarrassed and nothing he says or does will be accepted at face value.  The anti-Trump vitriol is unlike anything we’ve seen in recent American history.  It’s both crazed and mindless and goes far beyond what is considered the normal Democrat-Republican rivalry.  TDS goes far beyond the usual political machinations and ramifications most of us have become accustomed to over the years.  But hey, what else can we expect from the Democrats and especially those on the party’s Far Left?

   

     What may, however, disappoint and dismay President Trump is the fact that so many of his so-called Republican allies in the House and the Senate display similar anti-Trump attitudes and predilections.  If you recall, the primaries to select the Republican nominee were particularly rancorous and, at times, vicious.  Barbs and arrows were routinely launched by all of the candidate wannabes and some went way beyond accepted norms of discord and disagreement.  Trump, of course, proved more than capable of barb and arrow slinging as his rivals quickly learned.  The novice politician but very accomplished businessman cut his teeth, so to speak, in the real world where competition and the free market dictate who thrives and survives.  Compared to Trump, these guys didn’t stand a chance.  They couldn’t compete with Trump because they have only had to compete in the political realm which is child’s play when put up against an opponent who successfully navigated the rough and tumble of free market capitalism.  Trump out-thought and out-performed them at every turn.  He campaigned in all fifty states and displayed amazing levels of stamina, fortitude, and a work ethic that none of the competition could come close to matching.  After the dust settled and the smoke cleared, the last man standing was, of course, “The Trumpster.”

     That then should have been it.  The losers were expected to lick their wounds, get over their defeat, and do everything they could to help elect their party’s official candidate.  They fought hard and well but in the end proved incapable of overcoming their inexperienced political rival.  They managed to do just that in the 2016 election because, I believe, the Democrat candidate was so horribly flawed, venal, and corrupt.  In the end, of course, Trump won by an electoral landslide and the Clinton folks couldn’t believe it.  After all, Hillary was favored to win.  Right up to election day she was picked to win by the vast majority of the so-called pundits and experts out there.  Trump should not have been able to defeat that used up, dried out old hag.  No way, no how.  But, of course, he did.  In a stunning upset, the new kid on the political block defied all expectations and emerged as President Donald J. Trump.  This was simply not supposed to happen but no one told Trump or his supporters that.  For the first time in decades, the Republicans held the White House, the Senate, and the House.  Implementing Trump’s agenda should not have presented even the slightest of problems.  The new President was now in a position to help fix the problems faced by an ailing nation and what had become a crippled political system.  All he seemingly needed, was the support of his own party and therein lies the fucking rub!

     You see, far too many of his Republican compatriots are also infected with the dreaded TDS.  Far too many of them view Trump as an interloper and intruder.  Our new President is viewed by both Democrats and Republicans as illegitimate and undeserving of the office he now holds.  Trump did not succeed by employing the tried and true methods prescribed by traditional American politics.  He didn’t rise up through the ranks of political advancement that our system and those in it demand.  According to the Inside The Beltway Crowd, there is no room for outsiders or mavericks like Trump.  He did not play the game as laid out by the professional political class and was and is viewed as an outsider who had not earned membership to the elite Good Old Boy Club that dictates protocol and behavior that one must adhere to in order to succeed.  He did not belong and never would according to those who shape and mold political standards and norms.  These elites have absolutely no respect for the opinions, wants, and desires of us little folk out here.  Every two to six years they placate us with appropriate language and promises at every turn and then expect us to go away until the next round of elections.  They tolerate us when they must but beyond that they don’t want to see or hear from us.  They have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo and will not tolerate anyone who rocks the boat.  And Trump is definitely a boat rocker par excellence.

     His opponents and detractors in his own party are a particular disappointment and I can say with some confidence that if they don’t get aboard pretty damned quick their chances of getting reelected next time around seem to be anywhere from slim to none.  Those of us out here who are Conservatives are tired, fed up, and frustrated beyond all measure.  We’re sick and tired of our party throwing away opportunity after opportunity.  They can’t seem to handle the fact that they now constitute the majority party in Congress.  They don’t know how to behave like winners and feel more comfortable with their traditional role of being the minority party.  They certainly know how to handle being losers.  After all, how tough is that?  When you are the minority you must reach across the aisle and accommodate the Democrats – you must compromise and appease for the minority has no other real choice.  After all, they are the losers.  Our guys just don’t seem comfortable with the idea of being winners.  They simply aren’t used to it.  The health care debacle we are currently witnessing is a prime example of how they either can’t or simply refuse to behave like the winners.  They just aren’t used to it.  Trump has said frequently that he has his pen ready and is imploring his fellow Republican to get a bill on his desk that he can sign into law.

     They all knew that at some point Obamacare would implode to the point that it is hurting Americans far more than it is helping them.  The whole damn thing is a lie and has been from the beginning.  Remember how we could keep our doctor if we liked our doctor?  An outright lie.  Remember that if you liked your insurance plan you could keep that too?  Another purposeful lie.  Remember the one where health care costs would drop dramatically?  Yup, lie number three and the list goes on and on.  Our 44^th President lied his ass off every time he opened his damned mouth on the subject of health care.  He knew from the get-go that the Affordable Care Act was doomed to fail.  That’s exactly what it was designed to do.  Yes, that’s right, it was designed to fail.  Once that happened, those on the Far Left would move to a single-payer system where the only provider of health care would be the government.  That’s pure Socialism, folks, and that’s exactly what those of the LFE want and demand.  Republicans now have the opportunity to really help the American people and they are refusing to step up to the plate.  They have been pitched a chest high fast ball with nothing on it.  They should be able to knock it right out of the park.  But no, they are not doing so.  They are not repealing and replacing which is one of the main reasons that Trump was elected.  They seem to be defying our new President for no other reason than the fact that repeal and replace was one of the key promises and a cornerstones of Trump’s presidential campaign.  They don’t seem to want Trump to succeed because they too are infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome.  At best their health care proposals proffered thus far seem to be no more than Obamacare light.  I wonder if they’ll be just as obstructionist when it’s time to begin working on yet another Trump promise – tax reform?

            So, then, what exactly is this phenomenon known as Trump Derangement Syndrome and why is it spreading like some kind of raging epidemic?  A piece entitled, “Do You Suffer From Trump Derangement Syndrome? (http://www.latimes.com),” is useful here.  The author notes that the, “country is in the throes of a major epidemic with no known cure and some pretty scary symptoms.  It’s called Trump Derangement Syndrome, or TDS, and it’s rapidly spreading from the point of origin – the political class – to the population at large.  In the first stages of the disease, victims lose all sense of proportion.  The president elect’s every tweet provokes a firestorm, as if 140 characters were all it took to change the world.”  The piece continues that the, “mid-level stages of TDS have a profound effect on the victim’s vocabulary:  sufferers speak a distinctive language consisting solely of hyperbole.”  The author points out that Trump made a decision to continue to use his own private security force which prompted former independent candidate Evan McMullin to rant that this was, “a predictable move for a kleptocratic authoritarian who wants to operate outside the bounds of law and basic ethical standards.  Even more troubling, he may use the force’s lack of government oversight & presidential veneer to carry out extralegal acts of force.”  The author correctly opined that it’s, “quite a stretch to suggest that a desire to keep trusted lieutenants is actually a sinister plot to create a version of the brownshirts, but such illogical leaps are the pathway to the next stage of TDS: a state of constant hysteria.”

     In fact, as the disease progresses, “the afflicted lose the ability to distinguish fantasy from reality,” and in the, “advanced stages of the disease, those afflicted lose touch with reality.  Opinion is unmoored from fact.  Life resembles a dark fairy tale in which the villain – Trump – is an amalgam of all the worst tyrants in history, past and present – while the heroes – Trump’s critics – are akin to the resistance fighters of World War ll.”  I’m sure you’ve heard by now that the anti-Trumpsters have indeed dubbed themselves as the, “Resistance.”  The mainstream media also uses this term to describe those who want to neuter if not destroy Trump’s presidency.  I’m sure you remember that loser of a comedian who proudly displayed Trump’s bloodied, severed head.  I’m equally certain you recall the softball practice held by Republicans in preparation for their annual contest with their Democrat rivals.  A man showed up and queried as to whether those at the practice were Democrats or Republicans and upon learning that they were members of the GOP, he immediately opened fire to try and kill as many of the players as he could.  He wounded a few, one very seriously, before he was shot and killed by the police.

     This is but one example of an extreme case of TDS and I’m quite sure that there will be more to follow.  The author of the piece notes that, “This is the final stage of the TDS epidemic: violence against a democratically elected leader.  Unless a cure for TDS is found, this is where we are headed.”  He’s right, you know.  The Trump Haters have become completely unhinged and they get worse with every passing month.  They are becoming increasingly violent, especially on college and university campuses.  They become ever more irrational and hysterical.  Their anger and frustration borders on insanity and it appears that virtually all of their energy is focused on bringing down the Trump administration.  They don’t appear to have jobs and if they are students, as many of them are, they don’t apparently go to classes.  They are far too busy protesting, marching, burning, and destroying property.  There simply isn’t time to go to class and actually learn anything that will stand them in good stead when they are finally confronted with life’s realities.  They are simply unprepared to cope with the real world and seem to lack the normal life-skills necessary to negotiate the pitfalls and problems of adulthood.  They are perpetual adolescents who can’t rationally cope with anyone with whom they disagree.

     Another piece entitled, “No Cure in Sight for Donald Trump Derangement Syndrome Sweeping Elite (http://rasmussenreports.com),” also analyzes the symptoms by those suffering from the malady under consideration.  The article explains that it is a, “fast-moving disease, highly contagious and attacks the nervous system.  Early symptoms are inexplicable, fast eye-blinking, light palsy, stammering and overbearing snobbery.  Sometimes redness of the face and shortness of breath accompany.”  Additionally, “Later stages include total delusionment, dementia, inability to think clearly and, ultimately, a madness that cannot be contained.”  Sounds pretty damned serious doesn’t it?  In fact, if you have ever seen even a few of the anti-Trump rallies – especially at our so-called institutions of higher learning – you have witnessed it playing out right in front of your eyes.  Those who participate seem to be rabidly out of control and are so choked with anger they have lost the ability to communicate rationally and calmly.  They make strange, guttural noises and do not talk in sentences.  Actually, they don’t talk but shriek like twisted banshees high on crack or perhaps angel dust.  The author explains that if you experience blinking and twitching then there may yet be hope for a recovery but, “in the final stages, patients are often found wild-eyed, naked, frothing at the mouth, and writhing on the floor.  This behavior has been likened to that of Antonio Salleri in the final scenes of Amadeus.”

     The author of the piece further explains that, “Researchers have yet to arrive at a scientific name for the debilitating disease but it is generally referred to as Donald Trump Derangement Syndrome (DTDS).  It is found in its most virulent and highly contagious strain among media and punditry circles and top ranks of Republican Party leaders.”  Read that last just one more time.  It’s really quite obvious and not even the least bit surprising.  Trump is the outsider and will always be seen as such and that’s why he is so loved and admired by his supporters.  The size of the crowds he attracted while on the campaign trail have never been equaled by any of the professional politicians on either side of the aisle.  These tired, worn out old hacks just don’t get it and they probably never will.  They simply cannot comprehend the fact that Trump is able to correctly and effectively read the mood of the electorate and therefore connect with them on a level that his rivals and detractors aren’t capable of either understanding or matching.  These traditional old-time “pols” will continue to resist this upstart at every turn.  Trump will never be accepted or even tolerated.  They view their government positions as their exclusive and very private fiefdoms or sinecures.  They are the elites and the uninitiated are simply not deemed worthy of equal status.  The Inside The Beltway Crowd just don’t share or play well with others.  Anyone who tries will either be crushed or coopted by the traditional powers that be.  But not Trump and it drives them fucking nuts!  They will obstruct and impede at every turn and it doesn’t matter what party they are from.  They just can’t abide this rash, brash, and ever so confident “newbie”.  He simply must not be allowed to succeed for that might set a precedent that the “pros” can’t let happen.  The strangle-hold that they have held on the American citizen might be forever broken if Trump is successful and actually implements has agenda and achieves his goals.  To them this is a worst case scenario.

     In addition to the so-called insiders, our new President is loathed, despised, and virulently hated by our completely biased mainstream media.  Fake news organizations like the New York Times, the Washington Post, the L.A. Times and virtually all the rest display a hatred for the President that is at the very least border-line pathological.  The Trumpster just can’t get a fair shake from the talking heads that populate our so-called media be it print or electronic.  Well over 90% of the coverage of the President is both negative and vicious and quite frankly not too many men could withstand these never-ending assaults, attacks, and outright lies.  Trump, we must remember, comes from the private sector and is a problem solver.  He is solution oriented and understands how to get things done and remove obstacles.  He has done so in combatting the Left Wing Media and it absolutely infuriates them.  They have been rendered almost obsolete and inconsequential because they are no longer in the news business but have become the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party.  They are no longer trusted by a huge percentage of the American electorate and it makes them absolutely and utterly apoplectic.  Trump has proven that he simply doesn’t need them for as we all know, he tweets.

     There are, of course, those out there that advise him to stop the practice of tweeting.  They say that it is extremely unpresidential and undermines the stature and status of the office of the President.  This is pure, unadulterated Bullshit!  Trump’s tweets allow him to by-pass the media and render it impotent and irrelevant.  Trump speaks directly to the American people and doesn’t have to depend on the crooked news media to deliver his message with their ever-present Left Wing anti-Trump bias.  In an earlier era, Ronaldus Maximus did exactly that.  He also couldn’t depend on them to treat him fairly or honestly so he simply went over their heads and spoke directly to the American people.  You see, he was something of a maverick as well.  This tactic further enrages the propagandists in the media and virtually guarantees even more vitriolic treatment of our 45^th President.  To his credit, however, he plows ahead despite all of the negative attacks directed at him and his entire family.  The author concludes his piece by noting that, “Sadly, researchers do not have the slightest hope of a cure for those in the advanced stages of the disease.  The only known Hail Mary prescriptions have been to either send them to Syria as DTDS refugees or allow them to sneak across the Mexican border before the Trump wall and casino is built.”

     A piece entitled, “Infected by Trump Derangement Syndrome (http://andrewhida.com),” begins by noting that the author is also a victim of the dreaded Trump Derangement Syndrome.  He explains that, “It’s hardly just liberals who have despaired of Trump ever being other than an undisciplined, unprincipled, chaos-inducing managerial incompetent with no moral restraint on doing whatever he deems necessary to win at the game of running a nation as if it were just the latest installment of a reality show in which he is the one and only star.”  This guy is indeed infected with the dreaded disease.  One doesn’t get to create a multi, multi-billion dollar, world-wide real estate empire without being disciplined in the extreme.  Anyone who seriously doesn’t understand this has really got his head stuck right up his ass!  This guy, like so many anti-Trumpsters, has no use for anything approaching reason, logic, or common sense.  Like most of the pathetic, mindless buffoons who despise Trump, they do not think but rather emote.  I’m willing to wage a sizeable chunk of change that this guy’s last original thought died an agonizing death of utter loneliness.

     He goes on to admit that his, “symptoms include sleeplessness, periodic depression, a first-ever obsession with cable news, and the tiny hairs on my wrists snapping to attention every time my phone lights up in the way it started to do sometime last year with little snippets that usually included the words Russia and Trump Administration in them.”  If anyone out there can explain this drivel, please leave a comment so as to enlighten me.  The writer informs us that his, “Night-time sweats include fear of a ruined environment, a ruined economy, a ruined health care system, a ruined world order, fear of the end of the world itself.”  Does this fellow seem rational or grounded in reality to you?  That’s a rhetorical question so don’t rack your brain for an answer.  The point is that this Yutz is paralyzed with fear and has succumbed to TDS to the point that he can no longer be saved.  There are literally millions of people out there who share this utterly warped view of Trump and what he means to the many millions of folks who voted for him.  The poor deluded Bastard concludes by noting that he fears, “that my daughter, first-time voter that she was in November, will think that all of the brouhaha of this most extraordinary time, with our nation headed by a sexually-abusing, unreflective, narcissistic, quarrelsome and superficial con man, is just the normal adult world going about the business of ruining her future.”  This pathetic schmuck doesn’t even realize that it is he – not Trump – who has ruined his darling little daughter.

     Any discussion of the Trump Derangement Syndrome would be remiss if we did not take a brief look at how the crazies in Hollywood have reacted to Trump’s election.  Those in “Tinsel Town” are the epicenter of the Liberal Fucking Elite in America.  The vast majority of them are Far, Far Left and they long ago lost touch with reality.  These ultra-rich, pampered, and spoiled little snowflakes have become totally unhinged and have lost any grip on reality that they may have once had.  These people contribute very little toward the betterment of life in the United States.  Yes, yes, there is the “entertainment Factor” but that palls into insignificance when compared to the contributions of fire-fighters, cops, home builders, garbage men and the like.  These people and so many others actually try to make life better and they are vital to the health and well-being of the nation.  They do their jobs day after day, year in and year out and are not nearly appreciated enough.  The Hollywood Elite, on the other hand, do nothing nearly as important and vital yet they are forever placed on a very high and lofty pedestal and are treated like royalty.  These grown men and women do what little children do – they play pretend and make believe just like we all did when we were very young.  We, however, have outgrown this childishness while Hollywood’s Far Left still exhibit these traits.  They are overgrown kids who seem not to live in the real world yet they are revered and respected beyond any reasonable measure.  Americans take them ever so seriously and literally hang on to their supposed words of wisdom and their insightful analyses of the ills that plague American society.  In reality, they are buffoons who strut around like puffed up peacocks during mating season.  It’s absolutely ludicrous.

     A piece entitled, “Thinking Out Loud: Hollywood’s Trump Derangement Syndrome (http://historylessons.net),” illustrates the absolute asininity of the Hollywood meltdown over Trump’s victory.  The author asks, “How bad is what I call Trump Derangement Syndrome, (TDS), whose sufferers are overwhelmingly the Hollywood celebrity set?”  He answers that it is, “so bad it can cause celebrities to gain weight and lose weight for the same reason – loathing Trump.  Barbara Streisand wrote, “Donald Trump is making me gain weight.  I start the day with liquids, but after the morning news I eat pancakes smothered with maple syrup!”  As I recall, Streisand once threatened to leave the country never to return when George W. Bush was elected.  Hey Funny Girl, why don’t you just shut your fucking mouth and make good on your promise?  Some film maker who I have never heard of, Jud Apatow, admits that, “It’s very hard to lose weight in the Trump era,” and that, “Most of us are just scared and eating ice cream.”  Poor little snowflake!  This guy’s doing something that is a Liberal’s stock in trade.  They are always blaming something or someone else for their own failure and foibles.  After all, honest self-reflection just hurts too damned much.

     We also note that such luminaries as Lena Dunham who created the TV series “Girls”, is blaming Trump for her impending bulimia.”  Tsk, tsk, poor little cupcake!  She continues that since, “Trump became president . . . I stopped being able to eat food.”  She whined in true Liberal fashion, “Try soul-crushing pain and devastation and hopelessness and you too will lose weight.”  How sad, how tragic!  It seems Trump’s election has done some really positive things as the cry-babies on the Left Coast fight the ever-present problem of gaining weight which is crucial to the Hollywood crowd.  Another Hollywood “Celeb” moaned that, “Today I had a tooth shaved down because crippling anxiety makes me grind and rock my teeth on one side.  I blame Trump.”  It seems that some of Hollywood’s elite have taken to abusing booze because of the Trumpster while others have been driven straight into sobriety.  A writer for the celebrity magazine Bust says that, “thanks to Trump she has quit drinking because it clouds her ability to do her job, which is mostly to criticize Trump and conservatism.”  If Trump is indeed responsible for these lily-livered malcontents dropping pounds and getting off the bottle, you’d think they’d thank the President.  Yet another sniveling denizen of Hollywood maintains that she is, “so fucking tired of this manically insane, incompetent president and his dumpster fire of an administration . . . I’m gonna have to go on another med.”  It sounds like these emotional cripples on the Left have become so unglued that more than just a few seem to becoming drug addicts.  Good for them and I hope they enjoy the ride as Trump continues to implement his agenda and fulfill campaign promises.

     A Mr. David Kupelian who comments for the conservative World Net Daily notes that a long-time Liberal reader sent him an e-mail entitled, “The Real Republican Agenda.”  He quotes directly from that missive.  It begins by explaining, “You can’t round up the ill, the disabled, the undesirables and kill them in gas chambers.  But you can take away their medicine and let them die,” or, “You can’t lynch a black man under a burning cross.  But you can shoot him with a policeman’s gun (http://www.wnd.com).”  The writer of the e-mail cannot and does not back up these outrageous accusations with any examples, proof or evidence. The e-mailer blathers on that, “You can’t force a woman to wear a burqa and beat her if she steps outside.  But you can rape her, fail to prosecute the rapist and deny her health care for the pre-existing rape, deny her an abortion for the resulting pregnancy, deny her maternity care, deny her maternity leave and pay and block her avenues to rebuild her life.”  This guy has become totally unraveled and his anti-Trumpism is patently obvious.  It is not even thinly veiled or disguised but instead he proudly displays his absolute and total ignorance.  Like most of those on the Far Left he has no sense – common or otherwise – at all.  He is apparently too blinded by his all-consuming hatred of Trump to comprehend how utterly deluded he has become.

     Additionally, “You can’t round up the foreign-born, confiscate their property, and imprison them in detainment camps in the American west (again).  But you can block them at the border and deny them re-entry, deny them reunion with their families, homes and lives, even though they have legal immigration status.”  I wonder if this guy ever gets tired of being wrong?  Furthermore, the e-mailer proclaims, “You can’t put the poor in labor camps.  But you can tax them so heavily, and make the cost of education so burdensome, that they and further generations can never ever escape.”  What we are witnessing here is an old and oft-used Liberal tactic and strategy.  You accuse your enemies of doing exactly what you yourself are guilty of doing.  It has been historically the Left that wants to raise taxes to the point where we can barely keep any of the money we earn and it is the Far Left that has caused the price of education to sky-rocket to the point where people simply can’t afford what is euphemistically called a higher education or they simply default on those student loans that they can’t afford to pay.

     Let’s continue.  “You can’t go back to separate but equal schools.  But you can appoint Betsy DeVos and let her do this through funding,” and you, “can’t own a plantation that profits off the backs of little children.  But you can look at the budget and say oh, there’s no money for food stamps for hungry children, but there are bottomless tax cuts for the wealthiest white men.”  This guy is so full of shit his eyes have turned brown.  He rambles on that you, “can’t appoint a Klansman.  But you can appoint Jeff Sessions.”  Once again, this fool displays his complete ignorance.  This Yutz doesn’t even realize that Jeff Sessions put the Klan out of business in his state and even went to great lengths to make sure that one of those hooded freaks died by lethal injection.  Finally, “You can’t be Hitler.  But you can be Donald Trump.”  Those on the Far Left frequently compare Trump to Hitler thus furthering the absolute truism that they are completely ignorant of history and that they have failed to learn from it.

     A piece entitled, “Where anti-Trump Derangement Syndrome Comes From (http://www.washingtonexaminer.com),” is insightful here.  The author maintains that there, “appears to be no end to the Left’s vitriol against President Trump.  After his inauguration, massive and sometimes violent anti-Trump protests have broken out across the country.” In fact the, “mainstream press hyperventilates over his every statement and action with reporters spouting opinions as fact and one supposedly objective TV anchor literally rolling his eyes at a Trump surrogate.  In the latest bout of hysteria, Democrats and liberals are obsessing gleefully over the dim prospect of Trump’s impeachment.”  These guys maintain as their default position the impeachment of any Republican who sits in the Oval Office.  They are desperately seeking to bring Trump down as they did Nixon in the 1970’s.  The Democrats keep looking backward instead of forward and it certainly shows.  Their ideas and prescriptions are old, tired, and worn out.  They keep clamoring for more and bigger government solutions for all of life’s problems.  That can only result in more and more government infringement on the rights and freedoms of American citizens.  Whenever government grows, freedom must by definition diminish.  Our Founders learned this lesson well and Conservatives still understand it.  Current day Democrats and far too many Republicans have either forgotten or never learned this most valuable of lessons.  The article continues and explains that the, “hatred Trump inspires comes with a whole lot of derangement and hypocrisy.  It can also trace its roots to the political correctness and intellectual intolerance with which American society and education are saturated.”

     Additionally, the author correctly posits that the, “Left likes to beat into submission anyone with a dissenting view.  Nowhere is it more effective at doing so than on university campuses,” including Cornell which, “is no stranger to political bias.  Right before last year’s election a survey revealed that 11 out of 19 departments at Cornell, including government and philosophy, had zero Republican professors.”  This, of course, can and does have consequences.  Our college students are literally being brainwashed because they are certainly not being educated.  They are purposely being force-fed the views of the Far Left extremists because those are the folks at the helm of virtually all of America’s colleges and universities (see The Gentle Snowflake-Cupcake Rant of 12/11/16).  The author notes that, “major universities across the country lack ideological diversity and regularly inculcate political bias against right-leaning ideas.  By systematically silencing and marginalizing opposing views, these universities have been at the forefront of waging lunacy against the Trump phenomenon and anything else deemed politically incorrect.  They make a habit of labeling non-leftist views as racist, sexist, misogynistic, xenophobic – in addition to fascist and inherently evil.”  In fact our, “institutions of higher learning are some of the biggest purveyors of intellectual intolerance.  Young people reared in such an environment seek safe spaces from opposing opinions, denounce Trump (sometimes violently) and hate those who hold pro-Trump views.”  The author observes that it, “is no surprise that universities have been gripped with the most reprehensible bout of anti-Trump violence since the election,” and that as, “the political fights in Washington rage on anyone who cares about having an honest political dialogue should remember that sustainable reform in the nation’s politics is unlikely to come before true reform at universities and society as a whole.”

     While Trump Derangement Syndrome may sound and seem somewhat amusing at first glance, it is real, ugly, and threatening.  We as a nation have been known and celebrated as the first country that devised a method to allow for the peaceful transition of power when it comes time to do so.  It still sets us apart and above most of the nations in the world today.  It is indeed a major aspect of what has correctly been termed American Exceptionalism.  The Far Left in our country today seems Hell bent on ending that amazing tradition that has become a hallmark of our existence as a national entity.

The Founding Fathers on Immigration Rant

     I’m sure we’ve all heard the old and over used bromide that, “we are a nation of immigrants.”  I’m sure we’ve heard this completely mindless and utterly meaningless maxim for as long as we’ve been alive.  Alright, let’s concede the point.  At some time in our personal histories and backgrounds, each of us can claim relatives and/or ancestors who came from somewhere else.  However long ago it was, someone in our family tree hopped on a boat or a plane and kissed their homelands goodbye.  The reasons ranged the gamut from a desire for religious freedom to political freedom to economic opportunity and anything else you can possibly think of.  Ponder that for a moment.  You literally turned your back on everything you’ve ever known and most of the people you’ve ever loved or cared about.  This had to be a momentous and often painful decision, especially hundreds of years ago when traveling three thousand miles across the Atlantic Ocean in a rickety wooden vessel was at best a precarious and dangerous proposition.  The voyage was not for those weak of heart or mind.  It was, however, in many ways, a voyage of the desperate and downtrodden.  It was a voyage for those who had nothing left to lose.  They had absolutely no hope and no prospects in their home countries and came here on the proverbial wing and a prayer.  They didn’t know what awaited them once they managed to get here and there were certainly no guarantees that life would be better for them in the New World.  That seems to me to be the ultimate definition of desperation.  These folks were the epitome of those poor, tired, and huddled masses so celebrated by old Emma.

     And absolutely nothing has changed save for the fact that it’s gotten far worse than it has ever been.  We’ve lost control of our immigration policies, we no longer secure of our borders, and a nation with unprotected borders is in danger of losing its sovereignty as well as its identity.  Immigration is no longer working to our nation’s benefit but has rather become an overwhelming and dangerous negative.  If it continues unabated, it will bring America to its knees and will destroy the greatest country in the history of all mankind.  Yes, I know.  We’re not supposed to utter such sentiments out loud in front of God and everybody.  It simply isn’t done.  After all, it’s the height of political incorrectness and insensitivity with perhaps just a touch of xenophobia thrown in for good measure.  Does this sound terribly insensitive to you?  Does it sound nativist or perhaps just a tad jingoistic?  Good, because it’s meant to sound exactly that way.

     You see, in a sane and rational world, immigration and its attendant policies are supposed to first and foremost benefit the nation receiving those coming from foreign countries.  It should never, ever be designed above all else for the exclusive benefit of the immigrant although by definition those coming here from other countries have always benefitted.  A basic question regarding immigration must be how will this individual or this group improve our nation?  Will these newcomers be a net positive or will they, in fact, become a net burden and a detriment?  This is no more than basic common sense which, unfortunately, is becoming less and less common with each passing year.  We have stopped asking these and other relevant questions regarding immigrants and immigration policy but instead are traveling down the road of cultural surrender and national suicide.  We are witnessing what I believe is the purposeful and malicious transformation and destruction of the United States as historically founded and presently constituted.  This is not an exaggeration, an  over-statement, nor is it mere hyperbole.  It is a plain statement of fact that cannot be denied by any rational individual who loves America.  We are welcoming with open arms the world’s worst.  They are, in the main, illiterate, uneducated, unproductive, and have absolutely zero desire to become Americans or Americanized.  They have no desire to assimilate – to adopt American culture and customs.  In far too many cases, they absolutely refuse to learn to speak, read, or write the English language.  Additionally, not just a small percentage of these newcomers to our shores were criminals in the lands of their birth and will continue that life-style once they arrive here.  Again, this is not just mere opinion but rather is a matter of fact.

     Why, then, have we chosen to go down this road?  Why have we chosen this particular path to travel?  I believe the answer lies in the fact that Americans no longer appreciate their unique and unprecedented birthright and no longer recognize the very real concept of American Exceptionalism which is the reason our nation has evolved into the greatest, wealthiest, most powerful, freest, and most generous country the world has ever seen.  Does that sound somewhat braggadocious?  Does that sound unabashedly and unapologetically patriotic?  Good.  It’s supposed to.  Far too many Americans, it seems to me, no longer believe this about their own country and those who do will almost never express these sentiments in the public square for fear of being humiliated, shunned, and ridiculed.  To openly express love of country, to admit to being patriotic, is considered to be in poor taste.  To express pride in America’s past accomplishments and optimism for the nation’s future is seen as no longer applicable in the 21^st Century.  We are no longer to consider ourselves as American citizens first, last, and always.  Rather, we must reevaluate our position and consider ourselves instead as citizens of the world.  We must lose all vestiges of the outdated notion of nationalism and instead adopt a globalist view which denigrates and de-emphasizes the idea of the old nation state.  Clearly defined and defendable national borders are passe and no longer apply in this age of global interdependence and connectivity.  Those of us who still value ideas like nationalism and patriotism are considered hopelessly outdated and out of touch with the so-called New World Order and its priorities of destroying the United States, all of Western Civilization, and any concept of a limited government which emphasizes individual liberty and freedom as the ultimate and primary virtues.  All of this and so much more must now be subordinated to the concept of an all-powerful, all-consuming, and all-intrusive central government that will control each and every aspect of the lives of citizens from cradle to grave.

     Why has this become the norm in our country today?  Why have tried and true American values like rugged individualism, personal responsibility, self-reliance, and a fierce defense of American sovereignty been virtually abandoned by far too many of our fellow citizens?  The answer can be found in the concept of Far Left Liberalism and its adherents.  Those members of the LFE (Liberal Fucking Elite) absolutely despise the United States and all that it stands for and represents.  There is nothing about our country that they admire or find the least bit praiseworthy.  According to them, America is the sole source of all the world’s evils and ills.  They ardently believe that we don’t deserve and haven’t earned the wealth, power, and prestige that we have garnered over the centuries.  While Liberals do not constitute a majority of the American population, they effectively control virtually all of America’s major and most influential institutions.

     They have a literal death-grip on our news outlets in this country be they print or electronic.  The Far Left, then, controls and filters whatever news and information is made available to the public.  These America-haters have a lock on virtually all of our entertainment venues from movies to television to publishing.  Most importantly and most dangerously, however, the LFE in our midst controls with an iron fist virtually the entire educational system in America from pre-K right on up through college and university.  Since at least the 1960’s, our children have been lied to and propagandized about America and its past.  The LFE has literally brainwashed America’s children into despising their own country and hating everything about it.  The United States is seen as evil incarnate and that we are racist, xenophobic, misogynistic, homophobic, Islamophobic, and every other fucking thing you can possibly imagine.  America has absolutely no saving graces whatsoever and must be destroyed as historically founded and presently constituted.  After being brainwashed with lies and distortions for between twelve and sixteen years, our students have absolutely no ability to think critically or reason logically.  They have been turned into mind-numbed robots who blindly follow the lead of their Far Left Liberal task masters.

     This is especially true where the topic and concept of immigration is concerned.  They are advocates of completely open borders – or no borders at all.  They champion unrestricted immigration to the United States with virtually no standards and no restrictions on who should and should not be allowed to enter and live in our country.   No vetting and no background checks should be required but rather anyone from anywhere should be allowed in here without so much as a bye-your-leave.  According to them, American citizenship is a worthless and outdated construct and should be relegated to the ash heap of history.  Remember, according the LFE anyone who manages to arrive on American soil has a perfect RIGHT to be here and there’s not a damned thing that we can or should do about it.  We have no choice.  If they want to be here, we must just shut up and take it without a word of protest or dissent.  The American citizen is no longer the master of his own country but must surrender to the One-Worlders and America-Bashers in our midst.  In fact, these folks don’t want any restrictions on foreigners entering the United States and fervently believe that we as a nation should not have anything even remotely resembling a sane and rational immigration policy that puts the needs of America first because they don’t believe that America should come first.  After all, who in the Hell are we to tell anyone from anywhere that they are not allowed to be here and that they can’t stay once they arrive?  What they are consciously doing is promoting a foreign invasion of our country and make no mistake, it is an invasion or, if you will, a hostile take-over.

     This, by the way, has not always been the case.  There have been various times in our national history when immigration was strictly curtailed and controlled and we very carefully restricted who could and could not emigrate to the United States.  In 1882, for example, we passed a law called the Chinese Exclusion Act which, obviously, discriminated against people from China who were arriving on our west coast in unmanageable numbers and were not assimilating into the American mainstream.  This constituted an America First immigration policy because it simply was not in the nation’s best interest to allow anymore folks from China into the country in the late 1800’s.  Are you aware that from roughly 1924 to 1965, we stopped almost all immigration into America from anywhere?  That’s right.  Those immigrants who were already here needed time to assimilate – to become Americanized – before we could allow additional foreigners into our nation.  This also constituted an America First immigration policy and it made perfect and absolute sense.  Our needs were paramount, the country’s needs were prioritized over and above all others including prospective immigrants.  This was deemed wise, necessary, and crucial for America’s continued progress and prosperity.  We came first, our citizens came first, and our country came first!

     All of this came to a crashing halt with the passage of the Immigration Act of 1965, sponsored by that fat drunk from Massachusetts, Senator Edward –The Swimmer –Kennedy.  Prior to 1965, the vast majority of immigrants came from Western Europe and were, therefore, products of Western Civilization.  Within a broad framework, the Europeans who arrived here held to the same mores and values as did Americans because we were the products of the same or very similar heritage.  Once the language barrier was overcome, assimilating into American life and culture was not all that difficult and becoming an American came fairly easily and naturally to foreigners who hailed from western Europe.  Kennedy and his Far Left Liberal cronies and saboteurs effectively put an end to that.  With the passage of the Immigration Act of 1965, only about 15% of new immigrants had roots in western Europe.  A full 85% of them were to come from completely foreign cultures and third-world nations.  They had nothing in common with western culture, mores, or civilization.  They were the poorest of the world’s poor and the idea of becoming an American meant less than nothing to them.  They came here, for the most part, for the goodies and freebies which the Liberals in our midst promised them.  The Democrats you see were thinking ahead and planning for the future.  They knew that if they made enough promises, provided newcomers with all manner of assistance like welfare, housing, and food then these folks and their progeny would reward them at the ballot box once they become eligible to vote.

     It worked so well that in recent years a movement has grown up that would allow noncitizens the right to vote and that movement seems to be growing.  Additionally, we have seen the rapid growth and proliferation of so-called sanctuary cities that defy federal immigration law and policy and protect foreigners who should not be in our country and have zero interest in assimilation.  These urban centers are literally becoming foreign enclaves in our midst and the immigrants residing therein – both legal and illegal – display no loyalty or love for the United States.  In cities with very large Muslim populations, for example, immigrants refuse to recognize the legitimacy of the laws governing our nation but rely on Sharia Law.  Sharia is one of the most severe forms of Islam and is completely theocratic in nature.  In places like Dearborn, Michigan, the police won’t even venture into certain neighborhoods that are dominated by devotees of Sharia.  And the Liberals amongst us applaud this and proudly point to this phenomenon as shining examples of the virtues of diversity and multiculturalism.  In fact, too much diversity and too much multiculturalism are destroying this great nation and literally ripping it apart.  It seems that American values, mores, and norms are being trampled on in favor in favor of globalist concerns.  Our renowned trait of tolerance for the “other” has come back to bite us right in the ass!  We are indeed in danger of tolerating ourselves to death.

     It’s time for a resurgence of good, old fashioned, “Americanism,” as well as the proposition that America comes first!  It’s time we realized that our so-called immigration policies are turning our country into something it was never intended to be and if we do not begin to adopt a severely restrictive immigration stance, we are in imminent danger of losing the country.  This may be a hard reality to grasp and comprehend and to many it may seem somewhat callous and cold-hearted.  For far too long, however, we have ignored the problem of too much immigration by people who are virtually unassimilatable coming from nations that have a proven track record of loathing and despising the United States and everything about it.  This can only work to our detriment and eventual demise.  There can be no other reasonable or intelligent conclusion.  Do you know who else recognized this cold, hard reality?  Do you know who else feared for the nation if immigration was not strictly, very strictly, controlled and regulated?  No, not some far right wacked out militia groups clinging to their guns and Bibles.  No, not even some far right politicians looking to lock up the “Nativist” vote to further their political ambitions.  You wanna know who?  Our Founding Fathers, that’s who.

     An article entitled, “Immigration and the Values of our Founding Fathers (http://nationalreview.com),” is relevant here.  Author Michelle Malkin correctly maintains that the Founders, “asserted their concerns publicly and routinely about the effects of indiscriminate mass migration.  They made it clear that the purpose of allowing foreigners into our fledgling nation was not to attract millions of new voters or to secure permanent ruling majorities for their political parties.  It was to preserve, protect, and enhance the republic they put their lives on the line to establish.”  That, unfortunately, is no longer the case.  Immigration now no longer serves to preserve, protect, or enhance our republic.  Instead, it is being used by both political parties to further their own narrow and narrow-minded interests.  Democrats are looking to increase the ranks of their own party while Republicans want to ensure the creation and perpetuation of a class of endless, cheap, unskilled, and uneducated labor.  Neither party has the best interests of the nation or its citizens at heart.  Look around you today and ask yourself if current immigration policies actually do preserve, protect, and enhance our republic or, in fact, do they serve to tear it apart and rip it asunder?  Anyone who honestly reflects on this question already knows the answer.  Our immigration fiasco seems to be purposely designed to do anything but preserve and protect our citizens and our country and those on the Far Left in America fervently believe in immigration policies that will do nothing but lead to our own destruction.

     In 1790, James Madison maintained that it, “it is no doubt very desirable that we should hold out as many inducements as possible for the worthy part of mankind to come and settle amongst us, and throw their fortunes into a common lot with ours.”  The caveat here, of course, is the phrase, “for the worthy part of mankind.”  Madison was making a value judgement here and, yes, he was being unabashedly discriminatory.  Only the worthy part of mankind would be welcome – all others need not apply.  In today’s politically correct and utterly insane world, our former President would be hung in effigy for this insensitive, crude, and obviously xenophobic and bigoted remark.  After all, who in the Hell are we to pass judgement on who is and is not worthy of emigrating to the United states?  Just who in the fuck do we think we are anyway?  After all, if we deem some to be worthy then aren’t we saying rather obviously that some are indeed unworthy?  How dare we!?!

 

     Let’s ask another question here.  Don’t all of us decide who is and is not worthy of entering our homes and places of abode?  Don’t we do this routinely and consistently?  Of course we do.  This is called discrimination and it is both healthy and necessary.  Our homes are our very special places and entrance is denied to any all deemed unworthy.  Only those we want and/or need are given permission to cross our thresholds.  Does this seem unreasonable?  Does this seem unwarranted?  Of course not.  Well, America is our house!  It is our home.  It is where we live, work, and raise our families.  It is our refuge and sanctuary.  The entire population of the world is NOT welcome here.  We have a perfect right and a duty to be discriminatory as to who should and should not be allowed in here be it for the short or long term.  The LFE amongst us are going to hoot, holler, and howl at the very idea of immigration policies that discriminate against anyone from anywhere.  We should leave our windows and doors wide open and unlocked at all times.  Anybody and everybody must be welcome in our homes no matter how unwise and dangerous that might be.  The fact that it has the potential to literally destroy the country matters not a whit to them because they loathe and despise America.

     Madison noted that the purpose of immigration was not, “merely to swell the catalogue of people.  No, sir, it is to increase the wealth and strength of the community; and those who acquire the rights of citizenship, without adding to the strength or wealth of the community  are not the people we are in want of.”  Madison was right then and he is even more on point now.  If newcomers to our country detract from the strength and wealth of our community, they should not be allowed to come here and they certainly should not be permitted to stay.  As Madison plainly stated, there are certain types of people who we want here and others that we don’t.  Remember, America is our home and we must very carefully pick and choose who we allow in.  We must raise the standards by which we decide who can and who cannot be privileged enough to share the blessings of America with us.  The problem here is that far too many Americans no longer recognize those blessings as valid or legitimate and they therefore don’t deserve to be jealously guarded and protected.

     According to those on the Far Left, the United States is no better and probably far worse than any other country on the planet.  They utterly deny the concept of American Exceptionalism and somehow believe that unrestricted immigration and unprotected borders are the way to go.  The idea, for example, of building a wall on our southern border brings on frenzied bouts of full-blown hysteria.  They delight in the proliferation of so-called sanctuary cities and proudly point to them as a sign of their overwhelming compassion for the world’s poor and downtrodden.  I wonder where their compassion is for America’s poor and downtrodden?  Where is their vaunted compassion when it comes to the American citizen?  Why do they hold foreigners in such high regard without seeming to give a rat’s ass about their own country?  They seem to celebrate all things foreign and anti-American and utterly denigrate anything and anybody who loves, honors, and reveres this country.  Madison agreed that America should welcome immigrants who wanted to assimilate but should absolutely exclude those foreigners who could not or would not become part of the American mainstream.

     President Washington also insisted that immigrants must be absorbed into America life so that, “by an intermixture with our people, they or their descendants, get assimilated to our customs, measures, laws: in a word soon become one people.”  One people – Americans all.  That dream seems to be fading fast.  In 21^st Century America, we are looking less and less like one people but in fact are becoming, “Balkanized.”  We have devolved into practicing what’s become known as identity politics and the Liberals amongst us have elevated it to an art form.  They are constantly pitting one interest group against another and have been far too successful at emphasizing our differences over and above what should draw and bind us together.  They create as much conflict and chaos as they can and promise each special interest group that they will rectify and make right any and all grievances they might have, real or imagined.  They seem to believe that disunity and discontent should be promoted and perpetuated instead of emphasizing those qualities that bring us together as one unified people with common goals and interests.

     Alexander Hamilton maintained that the, “safety of a republic depends essentially on the energy of a common national sentiment; on a uniformity of principles and habits; on the exemptions of the citizens from foreign bias and prejudice; and on that love of country which will almost invariably be found to be clearly connected with birth, education, and family.”  Hamilton also noted that, “the United States have already felt the evils of incorporating a large number of foreigners into their national mass; by promoting in different classes different predilections in favor of particular foreign nations, and antipathies against others, it has served very much to divide the community and to distract our councils.  It has been often likely to compromise the interests of our own country in favor of another.”  Hamilton’s fears seem to have been justified and his warnings were actually prophetic.  The interests of our own country seem to have been sacrificed on the altar of political correctness, diversity, and multiculturalism.  These three pillars of Liberal orthodoxy are literally destroying this nation and this is being done purposely and with malice aforethought.  Hamilton continued that the, “permanent effect of such a policy will that be in times of great public danger there will always be a numerous body of men of whom there may be just grounds of distrust, the suspicion alone will weaken the strength of the nation, but their force may be actually employed in assisting an invader.”

     Do you think Mr. Hamilton was being paranoid here or should we heed his warning of so many years ago?  Think back to our history during World War ll when we literally sent Japanese immigrants and citizens to internment camps.  This, of course, has been roundly condemned by those Americans who did not live through that era.  At the time, however, it made perfect sense and was seen as absolutely necessary given what happened on December 7, 1941.  Today we face the same fear regarding radical, extremist Islam.  Given what’s happened here and around the world, are these fears not understandable and justified?  Should we not distrust an ideology that has sworn to destroy us and has proven time and again that there are those among them who are perfectly willing and eager to die to make the dream of our destruction a reality?  Hamilton also asserted that America’s very survival depends upon, “the preservation of a national spirit and a national character.”  He wisely insisted that to, “admit foreigners indiscriminately to the rights of citizens the moment they put foot in our country would be nothing less than to admit the Grecian horse into the citadel of our liberty and sovereignty.”  Michelle Malkin concludes her article by insisting that, “unrestricted open borders are unwise, unsafe, and un-American.  A country that doesn’t value its own citizens and sovereignty first won’t endure as a country for long.”  She’s absolutely right.

     A piece entitled, “Founding Fathers Were Immigration Skeptics (http://humanevents.com),” explains that contrary, “to what most Americans may believe, in fact, the Founding Fathers were by and large skeptical of immigration.  If the United States lacked particular skills, then the Founders had no objection to attracting them from abroad.  But they were convinced that mass immigration would bring social turmoil and political confusion in its wake.”  The author notes that Thomas Jefferson asked, “are there no inconveniences to be thrown into the scale against the advantage expected by a multiplication of numbers by the importation of foreigners?”  Author Tom Woods suggested that according to Jefferson, “immigrants would come to America from countries that would have given them no experience living in a free society.  They would bring with them the ideas and principles of the governments they left behind – ideas and principles that were often at odds with American liberty.”

     How many immigrants living in America today have absolutely no experience in dealing with a democratic form of government?  Democracy, voting, and the responsibilities of living in a constitutional republic are completely outside their realm of experience and personal histories.  Many of today’s immigrants come from countries that loathe and despise the United States, its heritage, and traditions.  They have been taught since childhood that America is an evil nation filled with nothing but animosity for those who come from somewhere else.  Many immigrants from the Middle East, for example, have been taught since infancy that America is the Great Satan.  Can we really expect these folks to disavow these notions once they arrive on our shores?  Jefferson pointedly asked, “Suppose 20 millions of republican Americans were thrown all of a sudden into France, what would be the condition of that kingdom?”  Jefferson answered that, “If it would be more turbulent, less happy, less strong, we may believe that the addition of half a million foreigners to our present numbers would produce a similar effect here.”  Look around you, folks.  We admit to our nation something like one million immigrants per year and these are the ones who arrive here legally.  Estimates of the number of illegal aliens in this country range anywhere from twelve to thirty million.  Additionally, the entire concept and reality of assimilation is all but nonexistent in present-day America.  Jefferson was right to worry and his fears are even more relevant today.  Unrestricted immigration and wide open borders will absolutely destroy the United States and we will have no one to blame but ourselves.  We let it happen and it may be too late to reverse the damage.  This is precisely and exactly what the LFE in our midst so ardently desires for their hatred for their own country seemingly has no limits or bounds.

     The author notes that Alexander Hamilton was once again right on point when it came to immigration.  He correctly maintained that the, “influx of foreigners must, therefore, tend to produce a heterogeneous compound; to change and corrupt the national spirit; to complicate and confound public opinion; to introduce foreign propensities.”  He continued that, “In the composition of society, the harmony of the ingredients is all-important, and whatever tends to a discordant intermixture must have an injurious tendency.”  An injurious tendency is an understatement if we honestly evaluate what our out of control, so-called immigration policy has wrought on the nation in recent decades.  The Founders would be outraged if they could see what we have done to the magnificent republic they created.  George Washington was again cynical when it came to immigration.  He stated that the, “policy or advantage of its taking place in a body (I mean the settling them in a body) may be much questioned: for by so doing, they retain the language, habits, and principles (good or bad) which they bring with them.”  He went on to say that there wasn’t even a need for us to encourage immigration, “except of useful mechanics and some particular descriptions of men or professions.”  Washington had it right as did all of the Founders on the immigration issue.  He believed that immigration to our country should be strictly limited and restricted.  Only those foreigners with skills that we lacked as a country should be allowed to permanently reside in the new nation.  Only those who could contribute to the health and prosperity of the country would be allowed to come here.  In other words, immigration policy should focus solely on the needs and requirements of the United States.  If individuals or groups from other lands couldn’t do that, then we simply had no use for them.  If they couldn’t contribute positively to the nation’s well-being then they must not be allowed to settle here.  Our Founders passionately insisted that America’s needs indeed came first.  Perhaps they can accurately be called the original, “American Firsters.”

     A piece entitled, “We Are Not A Nation Of Immigrants (http://dailycaller.com), is instructive here.  The author explains that this, “New nation, which became the United States of America in the late 18^th century, came to welcome immigrants from many other countries of the world who wanted to experience the freedom and unique way of life that this extraordinary new land provided.”  Back then, however, new Americans had, “to provide proof of how they could support themselves, a skill that would allow them to work in their new country, that they were healthy, and several things were assumed, that they would learn to speak English, and that they would become American.”  Sadly, even tragically, far too many of our current crop of newcomers seem to have abandoned the effort to learn our language and increasing numbers have absolutely no desire or intention of becoming Americans.

     How did this happen?  Simple really.  We let it happen.  We have ignored the advice and the warnings of the Founding Fathers because far too many Americans truly believe that these long dead white guys are no longer relevant for the United States in the year 2017.  It is absolutely true that whenever we have ignored the wisdom of the Founders, we have done so at our own peril.  The men who created this great nation knew full well that immigration was fraught with danger and had the potential to one day destroy our nation as historically founded and presently constituted.  Well, I’m afraid that day has arrived.  Immigration is completely out of control and is, in fact, bringing this nation to its knees.  Those who don’t recognize this stark reality are not living in the real world.  Those who can’t accept the fact that current immigration policies have been purposely designed to destroy us as a cohesive national entity are like the proverbial ostrich with its head buried in the sand!

     The author continues that what the new immigrant was expected to do was not easy, “as they had to do whatever was necessary to create the new life they wanted on their own, as no none was given anything, each new American had to make it on his or own.  But the ultimate reward, to become an American was worth the extraordinary effort that these brave men and women expended.”  Do you notice a difference between then and now? Of course you do.  In today’s culture, the new immigrant is given virtually anything and everything they need and/or want by simply showing up.  They come here not with open hearts but rather with open hands.  The new immigrant comes here knowing full well that the welfare benefits will be forthcoming just for the asking.  They come here knowing and banking on the fact that they’ll live far better here than they did in whatever nation they hailed from and that they wouldn’t have to work for it.  Food, housing, clothing, and anything else you can imagine would be provided in quantities they wouldn’t have imagined in their homelands.  Life on the dole here is far more preferable to life in the third-world shitholes they used to call home.  These are not the kinds of immigrants envisioned by the Founders when the nation was new.  These newcomers do not add to the health, wealth, and continued greatness of the nation but rather would detract from it.

     The piece continues that the, “accurate history of this country’s founding and its development make it all the more tragic that the left has distorted this history into the pathetic version of a multi-cultural mess that they have promoted and that falsely claim was our raison d’etre (reason for being) all along.”  The author correctly points out that under, “leftist rule, there are pretty much no rules for people newly coming into this nation, (only against white Europeans), and the more illiterate, diseased, destitute third worlders the better.”  In addition, “America remains a paradise for these immigrants, but a leftist version of paradise: they don’t have to become American, what does that mean anyway and who cares?  They don’t have to speak English, they don’t need money or a skill to find a job, everything will be provided for them through the labors of those who have come before, and who comprehend how special it is to be American.”  And therein lies the fucking rub!  Far too many immigrants not to mention our own countrymen no longer believe that being an American is something special or that our country is indeed exceptional.  This is more than merely sad and disturbing but rather is utterly tragic and can mean nothing less than our demise.

     This is not an over-reaction nor is it mere knee-jerk hysteria.  It is the absolute truth.  Once the citizenry loses feelings of nationalism, pride in country, and patriotism the nation cannot long survive.  It spells the demise of the greatest country the world has ever seen.  Of this there can be no doubt.  There also can be no doubt that this is what the Far Liberal Left so fervently desires and is working to accomplish.  The piece continues that far too many of those coming to this country as well as our own citizens feel that, “America is no more special than any other nation.  Even the unlivable hellholes from which they came, so it’s perfectly fine to come here, accept our largesse and stay what and who you are, no matter how detrimental to America, or even to the new citizen.”  Furthermore, the author of the piece asserts that for too many, “it’s no longer important to understand, help, and/or love the country, it’s only a means to an end to be able to acquire a cell phone, a big screen TV, any health care you may need, and those wonderful new trainers, among many other bennies.”  Additionally, “whatever more stuff you may want, just demand it, and if you don’t get it quickly enough, steal it and if these 2016 tried and true methods don’t work, riot until you get it.”  The author notes that we have become a, “sad and broken nation of immigrants . . . under leftist rule.”

     There is no escaping this cold, hard reality.  Unless we take the advice of our Founding Fathers where immigration is concerned, this country is absolutely doomed!
