The Founding Fathers on Immigration Rant

     I’m sure we’ve all heard the old and over used bromide that, “we are a nation of immigrants.”  I’m sure we’ve heard this completely mindless and utterly meaningless maxim for as long as we’ve been alive.  Alright, let’s concede the point.  At some time in our personal histories and backgrounds, each of us can claim relatives and/or ancestors who came from somewhere else.  However long ago it was, someone in our family tree hopped on a boat or a plane and kissed their homelands goodbye.  The reasons ranged the gamut from a desire for religious freedom to political freedom to economic opportunity and anything else you can possibly think of.  Ponder that for a moment.  You literally turned your back on everything you’ve ever known and most of the people you’ve ever loved or cared about.  This had to be a momentous and often painful decision, especially hundreds of years ago when traveling three thousand miles across the Atlantic Ocean in a rickety wooden vessel was at best a precarious and dangerous proposition.  The voyage was not for those weak of heart or mind.  It was, however, in many ways, a voyage of the desperate and downtrodden.  It was a voyage for those who had nothing left to lose.  They had absolutely no hope and no prospects in their home countries and came here on the proverbial wing and a prayer.  They didn’t know what awaited them once they managed to get here and there were certainly no guarantees that life would be better for them in the New World.  That seems to me to be the ultimate definition of desperation.  These folks were the epitome of those poor, tired, and huddled masses so celebrated by old Emma.

     And absolutely nothing has changed save for the fact that it’s gotten far worse than it has ever been.  We’ve lost control of our immigration policies, we no longer secure of our borders, and a nation with unprotected borders is in danger of losing its sovereignty as well as its identity.  Immigration is no longer working to our nation’s benefit but has rather become an overwhelming and dangerous negative.  If it continues unabated, it will bring America to its knees and will destroy the greatest country in the history of all mankind.  Yes, I know.  We’re not supposed to utter such sentiments out loud in front of God and everybody.  It simply isn’t done.  After all, it’s the height of political incorrectness and insensitivity with perhaps just a touch of xenophobia thrown in for good measure.  Does this sound terribly insensitive to you?  Does it sound nativist or perhaps just a tad jingoistic?  Good, because it’s meant to sound exactly that way.

     You see, in a sane and rational world, immigration and its attendant policies are supposed to first and foremost benefit the nation receiving those coming from foreign countries.  It should never, ever be designed above all else for the exclusive benefit of the immigrant although by definition those coming here from other countries have always benefitted.  A basic question regarding immigration must be how will this individual or this group improve our nation?  Will these newcomers be a net positive or will they, in fact, become a net burden and a detriment?  This is no more than basic common sense which, unfortunately, is becoming less and less common with each passing year.  We have stopped asking these and other relevant questions regarding immigrants and immigration policy but instead are traveling down the road of cultural surrender and national suicide.  We are witnessing what I believe is the purposeful and malicious transformation and destruction of the United States as historically founded and presently constituted.  This is not an exaggeration, an  over-statement, nor is it mere hyperbole.  It is a plain statement of fact that cannot be denied by any rational individual who loves America.  We are welcoming with open arms the world’s worst.  They are, in the main, illiterate, uneducated, unproductive, and have absolutely zero desire to become Americans or Americanized.  They have no desire to assimilate – to adopt American culture and customs.  In far too many cases, they absolutely refuse to learn to speak, read, or write the English language.  Additionally, not just a small percentage of these newcomers to our shores were criminals in the lands of their birth and will continue that life-style once they arrive here.  Again, this is not just mere opinion but rather is a matter of fact.

     Why, then, have we chosen to go down this road?  Why have we chosen this particular path to travel?  I believe the answer lies in the fact that Americans no longer appreciate their unique and unprecedented birthright and no longer recognize the very real concept of American Exceptionalism which is the reason our nation has evolved into the greatest, wealthiest, most powerful, freest, and most generous country the world has ever seen.  Does that sound somewhat braggadocious?  Does that sound unabashedly and unapologetically patriotic?  Good.  It’s supposed to.  Far too many Americans, it seems to me, no longer believe this about their own country and those who do will almost never express these sentiments in the public square for fear of being humiliated, shunned, and ridiculed.  To openly express love of country, to admit to being patriotic, is considered to be in poor taste.  To express pride in America’s past accomplishments and optimism for the nation’s future is seen as no longer applicable in the 21^st Century.  We are no longer to consider ourselves as American citizens first, last, and always.  Rather, we must reevaluate our position and consider ourselves instead as citizens of the world.  We must lose all vestiges of the outdated notion of nationalism and instead adopt a globalist view which denigrates and de-emphasizes the idea of the old nation state.  Clearly defined and defendable national borders are passe and no longer apply in this age of global interdependence and connectivity.  Those of us who still value ideas like nationalism and patriotism are considered hopelessly outdated and out of touch with the so-called New World Order and its priorities of destroying the United States, all of Western Civilization, and any concept of a limited government which emphasizes individual liberty and freedom as the ultimate and primary virtues.  All of this and so much more must now be subordinated to the concept of an all-powerful, all-consuming, and all-intrusive central government that will control each and every aspect of the lives of citizens from cradle to grave.

     Why has this become the norm in our country today?  Why have tried and true American values like rugged individualism, personal responsibility, self-reliance, and a fierce defense of American sovereignty been virtually abandoned by far too many of our fellow citizens?  The answer can be found in the concept of Far Left Liberalism and its adherents.  Those members of the LFE (Liberal Fucking Elite) absolutely despise the United States and all that it stands for and represents.  There is nothing about our country that they admire or find the least bit praiseworthy.  According to them, America is the sole source of all the world’s evils and ills.  They ardently believe that we don’t deserve and haven’t earned the wealth, power, and prestige that we have garnered over the centuries.  While Liberals do not constitute a majority of the American population, they effectively control virtually all of America’s major and most influential institutions.

     They have a literal death-grip on our news outlets in this country be they print or electronic.  The Far Left, then, controls and filters whatever news and information is made available to the public.  These America-haters have a lock on virtually all of our entertainment venues from movies to television to publishing.  Most importantly and most dangerously, however, the LFE in our midst controls with an iron fist virtually the entire educational system in America from pre-K right on up through college and university.  Since at least the 1960’s, our children have been lied to and propagandized about America and its past.  The LFE has literally brainwashed America’s children into despising their own country and hating everything about it.  The United States is seen as evil incarnate and that we are racist, xenophobic, misogynistic, homophobic, Islamophobic, and every other fucking thing you can possibly imagine.  America has absolutely no saving graces whatsoever and must be destroyed as historically founded and presently constituted.  After being brainwashed with lies and distortions for between twelve and sixteen years, our students have absolutely no ability to think critically or reason logically.  They have been turned into mind-numbed robots who blindly follow the lead of their Far Left Liberal task masters.

     This is especially true where the topic and concept of immigration is concerned.  They are advocates of completely open borders – or no borders at all.  They champion unrestricted immigration to the United States with virtually no standards and no restrictions on who should and should not be allowed to enter and live in our country.   No vetting and no background checks should be required but rather anyone from anywhere should be allowed in here without so much as a bye-your-leave.  According to them, American citizenship is a worthless and outdated construct and should be relegated to the ash heap of history.  Remember, according the LFE anyone who manages to arrive on American soil has a perfect RIGHT to be here and there’s not a damned thing that we can or should do about it.  We have no choice.  If they want to be here, we must just shut up and take it without a word of protest or dissent.  The American citizen is no longer the master of his own country but must surrender to the One-Worlders and America-Bashers in our midst.  In fact, these folks don’t want any restrictions on foreigners entering the United States and fervently believe that we as a nation should not have anything even remotely resembling a sane and rational immigration policy that puts the needs of America first because they don’t believe that America should come first.  After all, who in the Hell are we to tell anyone from anywhere that they are not allowed to be here and that they can’t stay once they arrive?  What they are consciously doing is promoting a foreign invasion of our country and make no mistake, it is an invasion or, if you will, a hostile take-over.

     This, by the way, has not always been the case.  There have been various times in our national history when immigration was strictly curtailed and controlled and we very carefully restricted who could and could not emigrate to the United States.  In 1882, for example, we passed a law called the Chinese Exclusion Act which, obviously, discriminated against people from China who were arriving on our west coast in unmanageable numbers and were not assimilating into the American mainstream.  This constituted an America First immigration policy because it simply was not in the nation’s best interest to allow anymore folks from China into the country in the late 1800’s.  Are you aware that from roughly 1924 to 1965, we stopped almost all immigration into America from anywhere?  That’s right.  Those immigrants who were already here needed time to assimilate – to become Americanized – before we could allow additional foreigners into our nation.  This also constituted an America First immigration policy and it made perfect and absolute sense.  Our needs were paramount, the country’s needs were prioritized over and above all others including prospective immigrants.  This was deemed wise, necessary, and crucial for America’s continued progress and prosperity.  We came first, our citizens came first, and our country came first!

     All of this came to a crashing halt with the passage of the Immigration Act of 1965, sponsored by that fat drunk from Massachusetts, Senator Edward –The Swimmer –Kennedy.  Prior to 1965, the vast majority of immigrants came from Western Europe and were, therefore, products of Western Civilization.  Within a broad framework, the Europeans who arrived here held to the same mores and values as did Americans because we were the products of the same or very similar heritage.  Once the language barrier was overcome, assimilating into American life and culture was not all that difficult and becoming an American came fairly easily and naturally to foreigners who hailed from western Europe.  Kennedy and his Far Left Liberal cronies and saboteurs effectively put an end to that.  With the passage of the Immigration Act of 1965, only about 15% of new immigrants had roots in western Europe.  A full 85% of them were to come from completely foreign cultures and third-world nations.  They had nothing in common with western culture, mores, or civilization.  They were the poorest of the world’s poor and the idea of becoming an American meant less than nothing to them.  They came here, for the most part, for the goodies and freebies which the Liberals in our midst promised them.  The Democrats you see were thinking ahead and planning for the future.  They knew that if they made enough promises, provided newcomers with all manner of assistance like welfare, housing, and food then these folks and their progeny would reward them at the ballot box once they become eligible to vote.

     It worked so well that in recent years a movement has grown up that would allow noncitizens the right to vote and that movement seems to be growing.  Additionally, we have seen the rapid growth and proliferation of so-called sanctuary cities that defy federal immigration law and policy and protect foreigners who should not be in our country and have zero interest in assimilation.  These urban centers are literally becoming foreign enclaves in our midst and the immigrants residing therein – both legal and illegal – display no loyalty or love for the United States.  In cities with very large Muslim populations, for example, immigrants refuse to recognize the legitimacy of the laws governing our nation but rely on Sharia Law.  Sharia is one of the most severe forms of Islam and is completely theocratic in nature.  In places like Dearborn, Michigan, the police won’t even venture into certain neighborhoods that are dominated by devotees of Sharia.  And the Liberals amongst us applaud this and proudly point to this phenomenon as shining examples of the virtues of diversity and multiculturalism.  In fact, too much diversity and too much multiculturalism are destroying this great nation and literally ripping it apart.  It seems that American values, mores, and norms are being trampled on in favor in favor of globalist concerns.  Our renowned trait of tolerance for the “other” has come back to bite us right in the ass!  We are indeed in danger of tolerating ourselves to death.

     It’s time for a resurgence of good, old fashioned, “Americanism,” as well as the proposition that America comes first!  It’s time we realized that our so-called immigration policies are turning our country into something it was never intended to be and if we do not begin to adopt a severely restrictive immigration stance, we are in imminent danger of losing the country.  This may be a hard reality to grasp and comprehend and to many it may seem somewhat callous and cold-hearted.  For far too long, however, we have ignored the problem of too much immigration by people who are virtually unassimilatable coming from nations that have a proven track record of loathing and despising the United States and everything about it.  This can only work to our detriment and eventual demise.  There can be no other reasonable or intelligent conclusion.  Do you know who else recognized this cold, hard reality?  Do you know who else feared for the nation if immigration was not strictly, very strictly, controlled and regulated?  No, not some far right wacked out militia groups clinging to their guns and Bibles.  No, not even some far right politicians looking to lock up the “Nativist” vote to further their political ambitions.  You wanna know who?  Our Founding Fathers, that’s who.

     An article entitled, “Immigration and the Values of our Founding Fathers (http://nationalreview.com),” is relevant here.  Author Michelle Malkin correctly maintains that the Founders, “asserted their concerns publicly and routinely about the effects of indiscriminate mass migration.  They made it clear that the purpose of allowing foreigners into our fledgling nation was not to attract millions of new voters or to secure permanent ruling majorities for their political parties.  It was to preserve, protect, and enhance the republic they put their lives on the line to establish.”  That, unfortunately, is no longer the case.  Immigration now no longer serves to preserve, protect, or enhance our republic.  Instead, it is being used by both political parties to further their own narrow and narrow-minded interests.  Democrats are looking to increase the ranks of their own party while Republicans want to ensure the creation and perpetuation of a class of endless, cheap, unskilled, and uneducated labor.  Neither party has the best interests of the nation or its citizens at heart.  Look around you today and ask yourself if current immigration policies actually do preserve, protect, and enhance our republic or, in fact, do they serve to tear it apart and rip it asunder?  Anyone who honestly reflects on this question already knows the answer.  Our immigration fiasco seems to be purposely designed to do anything but preserve and protect our citizens and our country and those on the Far Left in America fervently believe in immigration policies that will do nothing but lead to our own destruction.

     In 1790, James Madison maintained that it, “it is no doubt very desirable that we should hold out as many inducements as possible for the worthy part of mankind to come and settle amongst us, and throw their fortunes into a common lot with ours.”  The caveat here, of course, is the phrase, “for the worthy part of mankind.”  Madison was making a value judgement here and, yes, he was being unabashedly discriminatory.  Only the worthy part of mankind would be welcome – all others need not apply.  In today’s politically correct and utterly insane world, our former President would be hung in effigy for this insensitive, crude, and obviously xenophobic and bigoted remark.  After all, who in the Hell are we to pass judgement on who is and is not worthy of emigrating to the United states?  Just who in the fuck do we think we are anyway?  After all, if we deem some to be worthy then aren’t we saying rather obviously that some are indeed unworthy?  How dare we!?!

 

     Let’s ask another question here.  Don’t all of us decide who is and is not worthy of entering our homes and places of abode?  Don’t we do this routinely and consistently?  Of course we do.  This is called discrimination and it is both healthy and necessary.  Our homes are our very special places and entrance is denied to any all deemed unworthy.  Only those we want and/or need are given permission to cross our thresholds.  Does this seem unreasonable?  Does this seem unwarranted?  Of course not.  Well, America is our house!  It is our home.  It is where we live, work, and raise our families.  It is our refuge and sanctuary.  The entire population of the world is NOT welcome here.  We have a perfect right and a duty to be discriminatory as to who should and should not be allowed in here be it for the short or long term.  The LFE amongst us are going to hoot, holler, and howl at the very idea of immigration policies that discriminate against anyone from anywhere.  We should leave our windows and doors wide open and unlocked at all times.  Anybody and everybody must be welcome in our homes no matter how unwise and dangerous that might be.  The fact that it has the potential to literally destroy the country matters not a whit to them because they loathe and despise America.

     Madison noted that the purpose of immigration was not, “merely to swell the catalogue of people.  No, sir, it is to increase the wealth and strength of the community; and those who acquire the rights of citizenship, without adding to the strength or wealth of the community  are not the people we are in want of.”  Madison was right then and he is even more on point now.  If newcomers to our country detract from the strength and wealth of our community, they should not be allowed to come here and they certainly should not be permitted to stay.  As Madison plainly stated, there are certain types of people who we want here and others that we don’t.  Remember, America is our home and we must very carefully pick and choose who we allow in.  We must raise the standards by which we decide who can and who cannot be privileged enough to share the blessings of America with us.  The problem here is that far too many Americans no longer recognize those blessings as valid or legitimate and they therefore don’t deserve to be jealously guarded and protected.

     According to those on the Far Left, the United States is no better and probably far worse than any other country on the planet.  They utterly deny the concept of American Exceptionalism and somehow believe that unrestricted immigration and unprotected borders are the way to go.  The idea, for example, of building a wall on our southern border brings on frenzied bouts of full-blown hysteria.  They delight in the proliferation of so-called sanctuary cities and proudly point to them as a sign of their overwhelming compassion for the world’s poor and downtrodden.  I wonder where their compassion is for America’s poor and downtrodden?  Where is their vaunted compassion when it comes to the American citizen?  Why do they hold foreigners in such high regard without seeming to give a rat’s ass about their own country?  They seem to celebrate all things foreign and anti-American and utterly denigrate anything and anybody who loves, honors, and reveres this country.  Madison agreed that America should welcome immigrants who wanted to assimilate but should absolutely exclude those foreigners who could not or would not become part of the American mainstream.

     President Washington also insisted that immigrants must be absorbed into America life so that, “by an intermixture with our people, they or their descendants, get assimilated to our customs, measures, laws: in a word soon become one people.”  One people – Americans all.  That dream seems to be fading fast.  In 21^st Century America, we are looking less and less like one people but in fact are becoming, “Balkanized.”  We have devolved into practicing what’s become known as identity politics and the Liberals amongst us have elevated it to an art form.  They are constantly pitting one interest group against another and have been far too successful at emphasizing our differences over and above what should draw and bind us together.  They create as much conflict and chaos as they can and promise each special interest group that they will rectify and make right any and all grievances they might have, real or imagined.  They seem to believe that disunity and discontent should be promoted and perpetuated instead of emphasizing those qualities that bring us together as one unified people with common goals and interests.

     Alexander Hamilton maintained that the, “safety of a republic depends essentially on the energy of a common national sentiment; on a uniformity of principles and habits; on the exemptions of the citizens from foreign bias and prejudice; and on that love of country which will almost invariably be found to be clearly connected with birth, education, and family.”  Hamilton also noted that, “the United States have already felt the evils of incorporating a large number of foreigners into their national mass; by promoting in different classes different predilections in favor of particular foreign nations, and antipathies against others, it has served very much to divide the community and to distract our councils.  It has been often likely to compromise the interests of our own country in favor of another.”  Hamilton’s fears seem to have been justified and his warnings were actually prophetic.  The interests of our own country seem to have been sacrificed on the altar of political correctness, diversity, and multiculturalism.  These three pillars of Liberal orthodoxy are literally destroying this nation and this is being done purposely and with malice aforethought.  Hamilton continued that the, “permanent effect of such a policy will that be in times of great public danger there will always be a numerous body of men of whom there may be just grounds of distrust, the suspicion alone will weaken the strength of the nation, but their force may be actually employed in assisting an invader.”

     Do you think Mr. Hamilton was being paranoid here or should we heed his warning of so many years ago?  Think back to our history during World War ll when we literally sent Japanese immigrants and citizens to internment camps.  This, of course, has been roundly condemned by those Americans who did not live through that era.  At the time, however, it made perfect sense and was seen as absolutely necessary given what happened on December 7, 1941.  Today we face the same fear regarding radical, extremist Islam.  Given what’s happened here and around the world, are these fears not understandable and justified?  Should we not distrust an ideology that has sworn to destroy us and has proven time and again that there are those among them who are perfectly willing and eager to die to make the dream of our destruction a reality?  Hamilton also asserted that America’s very survival depends upon, “the preservation of a national spirit and a national character.”  He wisely insisted that to, “admit foreigners indiscriminately to the rights of citizens the moment they put foot in our country would be nothing less than to admit the Grecian horse into the citadel of our liberty and sovereignty.”  Michelle Malkin concludes her article by insisting that, “unrestricted open borders are unwise, unsafe, and un-American.  A country that doesn’t value its own citizens and sovereignty first won’t endure as a country for long.”  She’s absolutely right.

     A piece entitled, “Founding Fathers Were Immigration Skeptics (http://humanevents.com),” explains that contrary, “to what most Americans may believe, in fact, the Founding Fathers were by and large skeptical of immigration.  If the United States lacked particular skills, then the Founders had no objection to attracting them from abroad.  But they were convinced that mass immigration would bring social turmoil and political confusion in its wake.”  The author notes that Thomas Jefferson asked, “are there no inconveniences to be thrown into the scale against the advantage expected by a multiplication of numbers by the importation of foreigners?”  Author Tom Woods suggested that according to Jefferson, “immigrants would come to America from countries that would have given them no experience living in a free society.  They would bring with them the ideas and principles of the governments they left behind – ideas and principles that were often at odds with American liberty.”

     How many immigrants living in America today have absolutely no experience in dealing with a democratic form of government?  Democracy, voting, and the responsibilities of living in a constitutional republic are completely outside their realm of experience and personal histories.  Many of today’s immigrants come from countries that loathe and despise the United States, its heritage, and traditions.  They have been taught since childhood that America is an evil nation filled with nothing but animosity for those who come from somewhere else.  Many immigrants from the Middle East, for example, have been taught since infancy that America is the Great Satan.  Can we really expect these folks to disavow these notions once they arrive on our shores?  Jefferson pointedly asked, “Suppose 20 millions of republican Americans were thrown all of a sudden into France, what would be the condition of that kingdom?”  Jefferson answered that, “If it would be more turbulent, less happy, less strong, we may believe that the addition of half a million foreigners to our present numbers would produce a similar effect here.”  Look around you, folks.  We admit to our nation something like one million immigrants per year and these are the ones who arrive here legally.  Estimates of the number of illegal aliens in this country range anywhere from twelve to thirty million.  Additionally, the entire concept and reality of assimilation is all but nonexistent in present-day America.  Jefferson was right to worry and his fears are even more relevant today.  Unrestricted immigration and wide open borders will absolutely destroy the United States and we will have no one to blame but ourselves.  We let it happen and it may be too late to reverse the damage.  This is precisely and exactly what the LFE in our midst so ardently desires for their hatred for their own country seemingly has no limits or bounds.

     The author notes that Alexander Hamilton was once again right on point when it came to immigration.  He correctly maintained that the, “influx of foreigners must, therefore, tend to produce a heterogeneous compound; to change and corrupt the national spirit; to complicate and confound public opinion; to introduce foreign propensities.”  He continued that, “In the composition of society, the harmony of the ingredients is all-important, and whatever tends to a discordant intermixture must have an injurious tendency.”  An injurious tendency is an understatement if we honestly evaluate what our out of control, so-called immigration policy has wrought on the nation in recent decades.  The Founders would be outraged if they could see what we have done to the magnificent republic they created.  George Washington was again cynical when it came to immigration.  He stated that the, “policy or advantage of its taking place in a body (I mean the settling them in a body) may be much questioned: for by so doing, they retain the language, habits, and principles (good or bad) which they bring with them.”  He went on to say that there wasn’t even a need for us to encourage immigration, “except of useful mechanics and some particular descriptions of men or professions.”  Washington had it right as did all of the Founders on the immigration issue.  He believed that immigration to our country should be strictly limited and restricted.  Only those foreigners with skills that we lacked as a country should be allowed to permanently reside in the new nation.  Only those who could contribute to the health and prosperity of the country would be allowed to come here.  In other words, immigration policy should focus solely on the needs and requirements of the United States.  If individuals or groups from other lands couldn’t do that, then we simply had no use for them.  If they couldn’t contribute positively to the nation’s well-being then they must not be allowed to settle here.  Our Founders passionately insisted that America’s needs indeed came first.  Perhaps they can accurately be called the original, “American Firsters.”

     A piece entitled, “We Are Not A Nation Of Immigrants (http://dailycaller.com), is instructive here.  The author explains that this, “New nation, which became the United States of America in the late 18^th century, came to welcome immigrants from many other countries of the world who wanted to experience the freedom and unique way of life that this extraordinary new land provided.”  Back then, however, new Americans had, “to provide proof of how they could support themselves, a skill that would allow them to work in their new country, that they were healthy, and several things were assumed, that they would learn to speak English, and that they would become American.”  Sadly, even tragically, far too many of our current crop of newcomers seem to have abandoned the effort to learn our language and increasing numbers have absolutely no desire or intention of becoming Americans.

     How did this happen?  Simple really.  We let it happen.  We have ignored the advice and the warnings of the Founding Fathers because far too many Americans truly believe that these long dead white guys are no longer relevant for the United States in the year 2017.  It is absolutely true that whenever we have ignored the wisdom of the Founders, we have done so at our own peril.  The men who created this great nation knew full well that immigration was fraught with danger and had the potential to one day destroy our nation as historically founded and presently constituted.  Well, I’m afraid that day has arrived.  Immigration is completely out of control and is, in fact, bringing this nation to its knees.  Those who don’t recognize this stark reality are not living in the real world.  Those who can’t accept the fact that current immigration policies have been purposely designed to destroy us as a cohesive national entity are like the proverbial ostrich with its head buried in the sand!

     The author continues that what the new immigrant was expected to do was not easy, “as they had to do whatever was necessary to create the new life they wanted on their own, as no none was given anything, each new American had to make it on his or own.  But the ultimate reward, to become an American was worth the extraordinary effort that these brave men and women expended.”  Do you notice a difference between then and now? Of course you do.  In today’s culture, the new immigrant is given virtually anything and everything they need and/or want by simply showing up.  They come here not with open hearts but rather with open hands.  The new immigrant comes here knowing full well that the welfare benefits will be forthcoming just for the asking.  They come here knowing and banking on the fact that they’ll live far better here than they did in whatever nation they hailed from and that they wouldn’t have to work for it.  Food, housing, clothing, and anything else you can imagine would be provided in quantities they wouldn’t have imagined in their homelands.  Life on the dole here is far more preferable to life in the third-world shitholes they used to call home.  These are not the kinds of immigrants envisioned by the Founders when the nation was new.  These newcomers do not add to the health, wealth, and continued greatness of the nation but rather would detract from it.

     The piece continues that the, “accurate history of this country’s founding and its development make it all the more tragic that the left has distorted this history into the pathetic version of a multi-cultural mess that they have promoted and that falsely claim was our raison d’etre (reason for being) all along.”  The author correctly points out that under, “leftist rule, there are pretty much no rules for people newly coming into this nation, (only against white Europeans), and the more illiterate, diseased, destitute third worlders the better.”  In addition, “America remains a paradise for these immigrants, but a leftist version of paradise: they don’t have to become American, what does that mean anyway and who cares?  They don’t have to speak English, they don’t need money or a skill to find a job, everything will be provided for them through the labors of those who have come before, and who comprehend how special it is to be American.”  And therein lies the fucking rub!  Far too many immigrants not to mention our own countrymen no longer believe that being an American is something special or that our country is indeed exceptional.  This is more than merely sad and disturbing but rather is utterly tragic and can mean nothing less than our demise.

     This is not an over-reaction nor is it mere knee-jerk hysteria.  It is the absolute truth.  Once the citizenry loses feelings of nationalism, pride in country, and patriotism the nation cannot long survive.  It spells the demise of the greatest country the world has ever seen.  Of this there can be no doubt.  There also can be no doubt that this is what the Far Liberal Left so fervently desires and is working to accomplish.  The piece continues that far too many of those coming to this country as well as our own citizens feel that, “America is no more special than any other nation.  Even the unlivable hellholes from which they came, so it’s perfectly fine to come here, accept our largesse and stay what and who you are, no matter how detrimental to America, or even to the new citizen.”  Furthermore, the author of the piece asserts that for too many, “it’s no longer important to understand, help, and/or love the country, it’s only a means to an end to be able to acquire a cell phone, a big screen TV, any health care you may need, and those wonderful new trainers, among many other bennies.”  Additionally, “whatever more stuff you may want, just demand it, and if you don’t get it quickly enough, steal it and if these 2016 tried and true methods don’t work, riot until you get it.”  The author notes that we have become a, “sad and broken nation of immigrants . . . under leftist rule.”

     There is no escaping this cold, hard reality.  Unless we take the advice of our Founding Fathers where immigration is concerned, this country is absolutely doomed!

The This Guy Just Ain’t Goin’ Away Rant:  Obama’s Shadow Government

     A shadow government?  Really?  A secret government that actually runs the show behind the scenes without any knowledge, input, or approval from the citizens of the United States of America?  How’s that sound to you?  Just a tad bit paranoid with a huge dose of conspiracy theory thrown in for good measure?  This scenario sounds like it might be a candidate for some low budget, low talent, and thoroughly unimaginative cable television production to be aired at about three o’clock on a Monday morning.  Are there those out there who really, truly, and sincerely believe that something like this is even remotely possible or conceivable?  We’ve all heard, I suppose, of conspiracy theories and theorists.  Some have dealt with government and government cabals.  Some have dealt with dreams to overthrow an existing system and replace it with some form of visionary, mythical utopia.  Still others have dealt with military coups and overthrowing the existing order.  Most of us upon hearing of some kind of evil, nefarious, and Byzantine plot to establish a New World Order take it with the proverbial grain of salt, a mild chuckle, and an amused shake of the head.  We are far too busy with the vagaries and vicissitudes of daily life to spend much time contemplating such concepts as shadow governments, conspiracy theories, or black helicopter sightings.

     And yet, conspiracies have succeeded time and time again throughout history.  Think of any successful political revolution and you have an example of a successful conspiracy.  The revolutionaries in each case began as conspiracy theorists.  You know, they theorized about getting rid of an old system and implementing their own new and improved version.  They set about convincing as many of their countrymen as possible to join the cause and risk life and limb to succeed because failure meant certain death and the death of their vision.  If the revolution succeeded, they were hailed as heroes and seers.  If their cause was crushed by the existing power structure, they would quickly be forgotten.  It’s pretty much always been so.

     Our own American Revolution was born not out of some massive, popular, and spontaneous uprising.  It began with a relatively small but very dedicated group of men who were fed up with aristocratic rule from three thousand miles away.  They worked tirelessly to promote their cause and to convince as many colonists as possible to join them.  They were, in fact, conspirators and actively conspired against a tyrannical form of government that no longer served their needs and interests.  Their Revolution succeeded and names like Washington, Jefferson, Madison, et al are revered to this day.  Had our Revolution failed, no one today would know who they were.  The same can be said of the French, Russian, and Chinese Revolutions.  They all began with a relatively small group of conspirators determined to overthrow the existing order and implement their own new and improved version.  Had these revolutions failed, names like Lafayette, Lenin, and Mao would be at best historical footnotes rather than the larger than life figures they have become.

     After successfully freeing ourselves from the English monarchy, not just a few of the former colonists insisted that Washington become America’s first king.  After all, monarchy-absolutism was the only form of government these folks had ever experienced or even heard of.  To them, it was the normal and natural state of affairs and it was assumed that the Old General would readily accede to the wishes of his countrymen.  To their surprise and to his everlasting credit, Washington refused and informed his fellow Americans that we as a nation were through with absolute, monarchical rule.  In our new nation, decision-making would become a bottom up affair rather than one from the top down as had always been the case throughout world history.  Washington, of course, became America’s first president and completed two terms in office.  After his second term, he was asked to run for a third and undoubtedly would have won.  Once again, however, he surprised and probably shocked his fellow Americans by refusing to continue in office.  Instead, he voluntarily relinquished the power of the Presidency and returned to private life.  In his view, citizens had a duty to serve but only for a limited time.  After public service, the office-holder was expected to return to the private sector and get on with his former occupation-avocation-profession.

     Politics was never, ever to become a life-long, permanent sinecure.  No single individual was ever supposed to be that close to so much power for any great length of time.  President Washington, then, set one of the most important precedents in American history:  the two-term presidency.  That concept and tradition held up until the election of Franklin Delano Roosevelt.  That patrician was elected for an unheard of four times and had he not died in office, he would have been our nation’s leader for sixteen consecutive years.  Have you ever heard the term known as the Imperial Presidency?  Some say it dates back to old FDR and his disregard for the tradition established by our first President.  The primary reason for Roosevelt’s breaking with the two-term tradition was that the nation was in deep, deep crisis and needed one man and only one man to save the country first from the Great Depression and then World War ll.  Americans decided to put a Constitutional limit on presidential terms in office as a reaction against FDR’s unprecedented rejection of a long-held and cherished American tradition.  In 1951, Congress passed the 22^nd Amendment to our Constitution which quite simply stated that, “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of President more than once.”  How’s that for both clarity and brevity?  Two terms is it and then you’re outta there!

     And then along came Barack Hussein Obama.  This guy scared the living shit out of me as soon as I began looking into his history and background.  I mean it.  The “Brother” made me nervous even before he was elected.  This self-professed community organizer, this ultra-narcissistic rabble-rouser with an ego at least twice the size of a super nova wanted to become our President and the leader of the free world.  The man famously – or infamously – promised/threatened to transform America into something it was never intended to be.  You see, Obama despises this country as historically founded and presently constituted.  He loathes the United States of America and literally everything he did from his first day in office was designed to bring our nation to its knees and undermine our standing in the world community.  There’s nothing that he did or that he wanted to do that wasn’t intentionally designed to harm the United States and there are no exceptions that can be cited to refute this charge.  Not one.  We can go back as far as his constant Apologize for America Tours every single time he traveled abroad.  We can look at the fact that he purposely, consistently, and constantly undermined our nation’s military and intelligence services.  He is an avid and rabid anti-Capitalist and absolutely abhors the concept of a limited, nonintrusive federal government which is one of our Founding Principles.  He increased the size and power of our behemoth central government at every turn and thereby reduced the level of individual rights and freedoms that America has been so famous for.  I give you as but two examples both Obamacare and Obamacore as well as the unprecedented growth of federal agencies like the EPA as yet another (see The Obamacare Rationing Rant of 4/15/12, The Obamacore Rant of 7/29/13, or The Environmental Protection Agency Rant of 5/28/13).

     It quickly dawned on me that the Socialist-in-Chief was not the least bit interested in governing.  He cared nothing at all for our history, traditions, and institutions that made the United States the greatest nation in the history of nations.  He absolutely despises the very real concept of American Exceptionalism and is convinced that we are no better and are probably far worse than any other national entity that has ever existed on the planet (see the American Exceptionalism Rant of 11/7/11).  He is, in fact, deeply ashamed of America and our past and ardently believes that we do not deserve the power, wealth, and influence that we have garnered over the centuries.  According to him and his ilk, the United States constitutes the worst scourge in planetary history and they can point to absolutely nothing positive about America.  According to them, the United States has no redeeming features whatsoever and we must be made to pay a heavy price for the supposed transgressions we have committed against the people of the world and our own population.  Given this guy’s pedigree and bone fides, I became convinced that he’d be a one-term President.  Surely, the American electorate would never give this anti-American yutz a second term.  It just couldn’t happen.  I guess I’ll never have much of a future in the field of political consultancy.

     The man truly doesn’t want to govern but instead wants to rule and I mean that quite literally.  He wants to assume the role of a dictatorial autocrat who is answerable to absolutely nobody and nothing – especially the American people.  He and his fellow travelers view the people and our magnificent Constitution as nothing but impediments in their quest for total control and unobstructed power.  According to those on the Far Left, you see, we are not capable of running our own lives, let alone the country.  We are not nearly enlightened enough, wise enough, or capable enough to make the weighty and difficult decisions regarding our country’s future.  We must sit quietly by and defer to those who are obviously far more qualified than we are.  We the people are viewed as no more than mere annoyances by our “betters” and we have absolutely no business at all offering any input as to how the country should be governed or run.  We are to keep our mouths shut and obey.  We must never be so presumptuous or so arrogant as to assume we have any ideas or solutions that just might improve the manner in which the nation is governed or the direction in which it is headed.  This is simply not the task for us little people.  We must not worry our tiny, fuzzy brains, our inadequate intellect over such issues.  Instead, we must leave the fate of our nation in the ever so capable hands of those who would tear the country asunder and rip it apart.

 

     I was absolutely convinced that the Dictator Wannabe would find a way to circumvent the 22^nd Amendment as his second term began to wind down.  The Brother-in-Chief would find a way to remain in office.  Somehow, some way he wasn’t going to leave.  After all, he and his Far Left cronies still had more damage to inflict and since he has repeatedly and gleefully stomped all over our Constitution and has treated it no better than a door mat upon which to wipe his muddy boots, circumventing the 22^nd Amendment should not be much of an obstacle for the Saboteur-in-Chief.  How, I wondered, would he accomplish his nefarious goal?  Maybe he’d just refuse to step down.  You know, just barricade himself in the Oval Office and stage some sort of palace coup.  That would be an historical first for us.  Perhaps he’d find a crisis to exploit or maybe even manufacture so he could become the indispensable man without whom the nation could simply not properly function.  Could he perhaps find an excuse to declare marshal law throughout the land thus obliterating the long-held tradition of Posse Comitatus?  I’ve literally had “Day-Mares” about the possibilities here.  I became convinced that he’d find a way to hang on and continue his mission of destroying this country.  Go ahead and call me paranoid with delusional tendencies thrown in there.  Go on, tell me I’m a whacked out conspiracy theorist-nut job who has lost his grip on reality.  I’m just conjuring up impossible-improbable fantasies to compensate for the fact that I’ve got nothing better to do with my time or my life.  Let’s face it.  I was wrong.  All that worrying, gnashing of teeth, and rending of garments was for naught.  I can rest easy now.  Barry-Boy Obama is gone!  Or is he?

     He is obviously one of those types who once having tasted power cannot give it up.  In addition, his narcissism is so overblown that he cannot imagine a scenario in which he is not the center of attention and public adulation.  It’s simply not in his makeup and you can bet the ranch that he’ll be with us until the day he takes his last breath.  The first indication that he has no intention of quietly fading away is his stated objective of taking up residence in our nation’s capitol after his stint at being President was over.  He has, in fact, acted on that desire and is renting a five million dollar mansion only a few miles away from the White House.  He claims to be doing this so that his daughter can finish up high school in the same place she started so as to disrupt her life as little as possible.  Alright, let’s give him that one and allow that he’s hanging around because he’s an exemplary father who wants to right by his kids.  Nonetheless, he’s one of the only – if not the only – former Presidents who has not gotten the Hell out of Dodge at the earliest possible moment.  They’ve all headed for the tall grass, gone home, and began plans for their presidential libraries and repositories.  Not so old Barry Boy.  He’s here to stay.  Another indication that our 44^th President would not just graciously fade away was his declared intention to go back to his former “profession” of being a community organizer.  Yeah, he actually said that with a perfectly straight face.  I thought he’d go back to “Chi-Town” to return to his rabble-rousing roots.  When I learned he was taking up residence in DC, it became obvious that he fully intended to engage in said rabble-rousing as close to the seat of American power as possible.

     There exist other more tangible proofs that the former community agitator will be with us far into the foreseeable future.  Have you ever heard of an outfit called Organizing for America?  I hadn’t either.  OFA was no more and no less than Obama’s 2012 campaign organization which was a nonprofit group that advocated for President Obama’s policies and priorities.  Well, nothing really unusual or sinister here.  All presidents and presidential hopefuls have similar organizations, committees, working groups, etc.  They exist to promote a candidate’s or a president’s political and social agendas.  There doesn’t seem to be anything particularly nefarious here.  Nothing to see folks, just move along.  An article entitled, “Obama’s Organizing for Action Partners With Soros-Linked Indivisible to Disrupt Trump’s Agenda (http://www.breitbart.com),” explains that this relatively benign sounding organization became far more than that under the name Organizing for Action.  The piece notes that, “Organizing for Action, the activist group that morphed from Barack Obama’s first presidential campaign, has partnered with the newly-formed Indivisible Project for online training on how to protest President Donald Trump’s agenda.”  Well, isn’t that interesting?  A former President seems to be attempting to sabotage the agenda of our sitting President.  I really can’t think of a situation which quite parallels this.  The former president had his eight years to accomplish his anti-American agenda but can’t seem to afford President Trump the courtesy of trying to implement his pro-American agenda.  Barack Obama is determined to undermine Trump at every turn in order to protect his so-called legacy of tearing this country apart.

     Another piece entitled, “Obama’s Shadow Presidency: Well-Funded Organizing for Action Promises to Crack Conservative Skulls to Halt the Trump Agenda (http://www.frontpagemag.com),” speaks even more to the point.  The author notes that former, “President Obama is waging war against the Trump administration through his generously funded agitation outfit, Organizing for Action, to defend his monumentally destructive record of failure and violent polarization.  It is a chilling reminder that the increasingly aggressive, in-your-face Left in this country is on the march.”  This is not merely bombast or hyperbole.  It is factually correct and should bother-worry any American who places faith in our political institutions and traditions to keep our ship of state on course.  Obama and his minions are attempting no less than a silent coup the likes of which this country has never seen.  Additionally, “Obama has an army of agitators – numbering more than 30,000 – who will fight his Republican successor at every turn of his historic presidency.  And Obama will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House.”  The piece continues that in, “what’s shaping up to be a highly unusual post-presidency, Obama isn’t just staying behind in Washington.  He’s working behind the scenes to set up what will effectively be a shadow government not only to protect his threatened legacy, but to sabotage the incoming administration and its popular America First agenda.”  This is a telling point and one that must never be forgotten.  The very idea, the very concept of America First is anathema to those on the Far Left in our country.

     The last thing these saboteurs can tolerate or abide is Americans feeling proud of their nation.  They simply cannot bear the idea of a nation filled with citizens who love their country above and beyond all others and wish to see it succeed.  You see, that is defined as nationalism and this is something they utterly abhor.  These folks are simply not America Firsters or even second, third, or fourth.  To them, the notion of nationalism is an outdated construct that no longer applies in the 21^st Century.  There is simply no place for it in today’s world.  They are globalists and one-worlders and despise the old notion of the sovereign nation-state.  They want to do away with concepts like borders and national sovereignty.  They are Hell-bent on subverting our language, culture, and anything else that unites our population as Americans with one flag and one overwhelming loyalty.  Those who still believe in America are throwbacks, dinosaurs, and anachronisms who have no place and no business even expressing their opinions regarding America’s place in the New World Order that has become the Far Left’s utopian fantasy.  We must no longer place our faith and allegiance in our own institutions, traditions, and heritage.  We must instead rely on international institutions and organizations like the United Nations and the World Court to decide the fate and direction of our nation.

     Obama’s political action committee – Organizing for Action – differs significantly from others that came before it and the differences are quite revealing as well as instructive.  The article asks, “What is Organizing for Action?”  The answer is one we should not forget because it explains the mindset and tactics that the Far Left employs to achieve its goals of not merely undermining President Trump’s agenda but subverting long-held and established American traditions.  The piece maintains that Organizing for Action, “is a less violent version of Mussolini’s black shirts and Hitler’s brown shirts, or of some government-supported goon squads that Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez and Cuba’s Castro brothers used to harass and intimidate their domestic opponents.”  Perhaps you might want to read that last sentence just one more time.  It’s really one Hell of a statement and an indictment.  Comparing Obama’s minions to fascists like Hitler and Mussolini?  I thought charges like this were reserved exclusively for those among us who are deemed to be Conservative.  In fact, it is those on the Far Left who are dangerous to our nation’s continued success and greatness.  It is the LFE (Liberal Fucking Elite) in our midst that routinely compares Republicans and Conservatives to authoritarian dictators and power-mad egomaniacs when in fact the opposite is actually the reality.

 

     It is Obama and his compatriots on the Far Left that continually adopt the tactics of dictators like Hitler and Mussolini.  There is no question about this.  If you have any doubts here, just look at the behavior and antics of groups like the New Black Panthers, the Occupy Wall Street crowd, the Black Lives Matter mobs, or any of the so-called protestors at any town-hall meeting of Republican politicians.  They are always and inevitably disruptive and violent.  They are designed to be confrontational.  They employ intimidation and fear to silence their opponents at every turn.  They deny to those that oppose them their sacred rights to freedom of speech and expression and they always claim to do so in furtherance of some nebulous concept known as the, “greater good.”  It is the Far Left among us that constantly uses tactics that are decidedly and unabashedly un-American and yet they in their spurious self-righteousness accuse their opponents of using these very tactics.  This is classic Liberalism – accuse your enemies of exactly that behavior of which they are in fact guilty of perpetrating.  It is a classic technique used to place your opponents on the defensive and render them completely ineffective.

     Additionally, Obama’s Organizing for Action runs another project called the Community Organizing Institute (COI).  What exactly is this, you might ask?  This arm of Obama’s army of subversives is described as one that builds, “upon the rich history of community organizing in Chicago,” and that, “the COI is a place to share stories, best practices, and innovations in order to build our community and empower individuals in the fight for change.  It is a shared space for organizers, policy makers, advocates, and change-agents to come together for workshops, panel discussions, presentations, training, film screenings, and social gatherings – building a strong foundation for partnerships.”  Well, doesn’t that sound ever so benign and non-threatening?  Sounds like a place for like-minded individuals to get together, identify problems, and propose solutions.  What could possibly be wrong with that?  Nothing at all, until you understand that this is no more than Liberal-Speak and that nothing in the Liberal lexicon is ever what it seems to be.  The author of the piece provides the appropriate translation for those of us who speak American.  The article continues, “Translation:  At COI you can learn how to spark riots, get arrested to make a political statement, organize lynch mobs and voter fraud on a massive scale, intimidate and shake down corporations, blackmail lenders, race-bait public officials and businesses into submission, smear and terrorize your opponents, shield illegal immigrants from law enforcement, lead squatters to invade foreclosed homes, encourage welfare fraud, and use tax dollars to promote cockamamie social engineering schemes.”  These are the preferred tactics of the Far Left amongst us and especially our very own Community Organizer-in-Chief.  They are utterly subversive and unfortunately they are extremely effective.

     One can’t help but wonder why it has become so vitally important for Obama to undermine and render ineffective the new administration.  Why won’t this guy just go away?  Why can’t he be satisfied with the destruction he has already wrought on our country?  The answer can be found in the simple but profound concept of legacy.  Obama wants his so-called legacy to continue far beyond his term in office.  He wants his presidency to be considered a watershed of sorts that will set him apart from and above all those who had served before him.  He wants to be forever remembered as the President who fundamentally transformed the United States into some grotesque reincarnation of what the Founding Fathers created all those years ago.  He wants to undo their magnificent legacy to future generations of Americans and replace it with his own dark and sinister version.  This is why Obama backed Hillary in our most recent presidential contest.  He knew that she would build upon and reinforce the destruction he initiated.  Through her, his legacy would continue far into the future and that she in all probability would double-down on it.  Had she been elected as had been widely and loudly predicted, the Wanna-Be Dictator’s legacy would have been secured and the damage he inflicted on our nation would continue unabated.

     Donald Trump, however, could not be trusted to do the same.  Throughout the campaign, Trump vowed to deconstruct the Socialist-in Chief’s malevolent rampage through our nation’s institutions and traditions.  Well, the Pant-Suit lost and Ol’ Barry Boy felt threatened and with good reason.  Trump ran for the Presidency promising to fix the damage Obama had inflicted.  Our new President, therefore, must be stopped.  Obama, for example, is an advocate of the Far Left’s Open Border Policy as befits a true globalist and one-worlder.  Who in the Hell are we to keep anyone from entering our country if they so desired?  How dare we even attempt to protect our borders, language, and culture?  Trump’s gonna build The Wall to do just that.  Obama’s signature piece of legislation and the defining element of his entire Presidency was the Affordable Care Act – you know, Obamacare.  This utterly unconstitutional and thoroughly anti-American piece of legislation has certainly helped fulfill Obama’s threat to fundamentally transform this nation into something it was never intended to be.  It belies the very essence and concept of a limited and nonintrusive federal government.  With Obamacare, the government literally took control of over one-sixth of the nation’s economy and greatly reduced the level of individual freedom that has been a hallmark of the American experience.  Once the government controls your health and health care, it virtually controls the lives of each and every citizen in the nation.  There is not one single thing, not one single activity that in some manner cannot be related to health and health care.  You can’t think of one, can you?  Me neither.  Obamacare ensures that we will be controlled more than ever before by an all intrusive, all powerful central government.  What has Trump sworn to do?  Get rid of it – repeal and replace it.  Well, Obama and the Boys simply can’t tolerate that.  Trump must be stopped by any and all means possible.  They couldn’t prevent him from being elected but they can do their damndest to make him and his administration completely impotent and incapable of accomplishing their goals and visions for America.

     A web piece entitled, “Obama-Linked Activists Have a Training Manual for Protesting Trump (http://nypost.com),” illustrates once more that the Far Left is devoid of any and all substance.  They have no ideas that they clearly articulate to solve the problems facing our nation primarily because they are the ones who have caused the problems we face as a nation.  The best they can do – in fact all they can do – is disrupt, deceive, and dissemble.  They have no solutions because they do not want to solve the myriad problems they have purposely caused and created.  They want only to exacerbate them and make them far worse than they already are.  They want America to literally implode thereby creating so much chaos and confusion that Americans will look only to our bloated and overreaching federal government for solutions.  This is the goal of any totalitarian movement:  total and utter dependence upon a centralized, authoritarian entity.

 

     This by definition reduces the freedom and autonomy of the individual citizen which is the ultimate goal of the Far Left in America.  The piece informs us that, “Organizing for Action, a group founded by former President Barack Obama and featured prominently in his new post-presidency website, is distributing a training manual to anti-Trump activists that advises them to bully GOP lawmakers into backing off support for repealing Obamacare, curbing immigration from high-risk Islamic nations and building a border wall.”  Furthermore the, “manual published with OFA partner ‘Indivisible,’ advises protestors to go into halls quietly so as not to raise alarms, and grab seats at the front of the room but do not sit all together.”  Instead, the manual advises that would-be disrupters, “spread out in pairs to make it seem like the whole room opposes the Republican host’s positions.  This will help reinforce the impression of broad consensus.”  The manual additionally urges the town hall saboteurs to ask hostile questions while keeping a firm hold on the mic – and loudly boo the GOP politician if he isn’t giving you real answers.”

     Folks, we’re talking about infiltration techniques here.  I’m sure you’ve seen Republican town halls that have become loud, unruly, and even violent.  We are supposed to believe that these are spontaneous, grass-roots outbursts by frustrated and disgruntled Republican voters.  We are supposed to believe that these outbursts are truly heart-felt and express the righteous anger and indignation felt by Trump supporters who have become deeply disappointed with the President’s  performance in office thus far.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  These so-called protestors are nothing more than “plants” who purposely disrupt Republican held events.  They are nothing more than saboteurs.  Additionally, the manual urges protestors to flood the offices of GOP lawmakers with demands for the resignation of top Trump appointees and officials.  The manual even provides a script that tells protestors to repeat that, “I’m honestly scared that a known racist and anti-Semite will be working just feet from the Oval Office – it is everyone’s business if a man who promoted white supremacy is serving as an adviser to the president.”

     You’ll notice, of course, that the manual does not actually name the individual in question nor does it supply even one scintilla of evidence to support charges of racism and anti-Semitism.  This is nothing more than standard operating procedure for those on the Far Left.  Somehow they manage to make smoke without any fire.  Charges are never, ever substantiated but instead are just levelled.  Proof is not necessary to put their opposition on the defensive and defensive positions rarely lead to progress or solutions.  They only serve to make those charged look guilty.  This tactic comes right out of Saul Alinsky’s Rules For Radicals and has been quite successful over the decades.  The web piece notes that Organizing for Action has more than 250 offices nationwide and more than 32,000 organizers, with another 25,000 in the process of being trained.  Additionally, these “aren’t typical Black Lives Matter or Occupy Wall Street marchers, but rather professionally trained organizers who go through a six-week training program similar to the training – steeped in Alinsky agitation tactics – Obama received in Chicago when he was a community organizer.”  Indeed, “Chicago socialist Saul Alinsky, known by the left as the father of community organizing, taught radicals to rub raw the sores of discontent and create the conditions for a revolution.”  Yup, you guessed right.  Mr. Alinsky is one of Obama’s key role models and he follows Alinsky’s advice like the good Leftist saboteur that he is.  The piece concludes that, “Obama appears to be behind the anti-Trump riots.”  Really, yuh think!?!

     I’m sure that there are those out there who absolutely can’t wrap their minds around the concept of a secret and sinister “Shadow Government” created and headed by a former President of the United States.  Those of you who fall into this camp simply don’t understand the Far Left in our nation.  Most Americans find it difficult to believe that an elected two-term president of our country would actively engage in subversive activities directed at his duly elected successor.  And in truth, it’s really tough to accept the fact that it’s absolutely true.  Throughout our history, we’ve never experienced anything like this so we’ve really got no reference point for comparison.  We have to process this with virtually no precedents or past examples to point to.  This is an entirely new concept for us to analyze, digest, and assimilate into the way we view our political system.  Obama had his eight-year stint to rampage through our Constitution and I believe he did more damage to the nation than all of his 43 predecessors combined.  The point here is that the damage wreaked by El Destructo was done purposely and with malice aforethought.  No other President, I believe, purposely set out to bring our country to its knees and weaken us to the point where our allies no longer trust us and our enemies no longer fear us.  That’s one Hell of a legacy the Brother-in-Chief has racked up for himself and the fact that he’s damned proud of it should come as absolutely no surprise.  He has done and will continue to do whatever he can to not only undermine President Trump but the United States as well.  Most of us absolutely cannot fathom just how deeply and pathologically those on the Far Left loathe and despise our country.  Until you come to grips with the fact that there are tens upon tens of millions of our fellow citizens out there who really do feel this way, you’re never going to understand those on the Far Left in our midst.  I know it’s a tough nut to crack – but there it is and there’s no getting around that cold, hard fact.

     A piece entitled, “The Deep State:  The Unelected Shadow Government is Here to Stay (https://www.rutherford.org),” is useful here.  The author explains that, “America’s next president will inherit more than a bitterly divided nation teetering on the brink of financial catastrophe when he or she assumes office.  He will also inherit a shadow government, one that is fully operational and staffed by unelected officials who are, in essence, running the country.”  The author actually identifies two separate shadow governments.  The first shadow government is referred to as a COG or continuity of government and, “is made up of unelected individuals who have been appointed to run the government in the event of a catastrophe.”  The writer opines that this first shadow government is, “a phantom menace waiting for the right circumstances – a terrorist attack, a natural disaster, an economic meltdown – to bring it out of the shadows, where it operates even now.”  The second Shadow Government, “referred to as the Deep State, is comprised of unelected government bureaucrats, corporations, contractors, paper-pushers, and button-pushers who are actually calling the shots behind the scenes right now.”  It is this second shadow government, “which poses the greater threat to our freedoms.  This permanent, corporatized, militarized entrenched bureaucracy is unaffected by elections, unaltered by populist movement, and beyond the reach of the law.”  The piece continues that, “these shadow governments, which operate beyond the reach of the Constitution and with no real accountability to the citizenry, are the reason why we the people have no control over our government.”

     Why don’t you ponder this for a moment?  Is the author of this piece just one more conspiracy nut who is experiencing a full-blown paranoia attack?  Is he just one more example of some poor schmuck who has neglected to take his “meds” on a regular basis?  I sincerely hope so because if he’s really on to something here then our country is truly in deep, deep trouble.  If this fellow is on the right track, then our entire political process and system is no more than a sham - a giant, grotesque charade.  If he’s even close to being correct, it means that we the people count for absolutely nothing and going to the polls and exercising our all-important right to vote for our leaders and deciding the direction our nation will take is completely meaningless and irrelevant.  It further means that our Constitution as well as the entire American Revolution have been completely undermined and rendered obsolete.  It means that all of us regardless of political affiliation have been hoodwinked and bamboozled into thinking that our voices actually make a difference when, in fact, what we want, desire, and believe matters not at all.

     I hope that the author of the article is just venting, blowing air, and letting his frustration rule his intellect.  I fear, however, that the guy just might be on to something here.  There does exist, especially at the federal level, a huge and permanent government beauracracy without which government grinds to a shrieking halt.  These are the folks that actually implement government policy when their bosses finally decide what those policies will be.  These are the folks who actually get things done.  They are the troops on the ground and have been in place since forever.  In the Executive Branch alone, for example, there are over four thousand positions that must be filled and it’s gotten to the point where our Federal government has become the nation’s single largest employer.  So much for the limited government envisioned and implemented by our Founding Fathers.  The problem with our permanent beauracracy is that it is largely composed of Democrat voters if not actual party “apparachniks.”  How’s that for a blanket, sweeping statement?  Why do you suppose that President Trump’s first few months in office have been plagued by delays, seeming confusion, and out and out leaks of material that was never intended to be made public.  When a Republican is elected to the Presidency, there appears to be a distinct up-tick in this kind of activity.  There seems to be a concerted effort to make his Presidency as ineffectual and impotent as possible which the Democrats desperately hope will boost their chances for success as the 2018 midterm elections loom ever closer.  If this is what is meant by a Shadow Government, then there is no doubt that it indeed exists and that it is negatively affecting our political process. 

     A piece entitled, “Obama’s Shadow Government is Organizing to Undermine Trump (https://thefederalist.com),” explains that once, “out of office, ex-presidents usually fade into private life and stay out of politics.  They write memoirs, serve on corporate boards, and start charitable foundations.  George W. Bush retired to his ranch in Texas and, most recently, painted portraits of veterans wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.”  This has indeed been the case with almost all of our former Presidents.  But of course, “then there is Obama.  Less than a month out of office, the broad contours of Obama’s post-presidency career are already taking shape.  Obama and his loyalists, it seems, will remain in the center of the political fray, officially and unofficially, in an organized effort to undermine the Trump administration.”  Thus far, the efforts to sabotage the new administration have been quite successful.

     Remember the name Michael Flynn and his abrupt departure from the Trump team?  In fact, “Flynn’s resignation was prompted by a series of coordinated and anonymous leaks from current and former Obama administration officials in our domestic intelligence agencies.”  Additionally these, “are part of a larger, loosely organized effort now underway to preserve Obama’s legacy.  This effort involves Obama-era officials still inside the federal government, former Obama staffers working in the private sector, and Obama himself.”  Yup, Obama himself.  I’m tellin’ ya, this guy just ain’t goin’ away.  The author maintains that this, “isn’t some conspiracy theory.  After the election, Obama indicated he intends to stay involved in the political fray.  In an email to his supporters on his last day in office, Obama encouraged them to stay engaged, promising I’ll be right there with you every step of the way.”  Indeed, “Less than two weeks later, he issued a statement saying he was heartened by anti-Trump protests over the executive order on immigration.”  The piece concludes by noting that, “Obama had eight years in the White House to secure his legacy.  Any efforts on his part to undermine his successor aren’t just an affront to the principles of our democracy, they’re an admission that he and his acolytes never put much stock in democracy to begin with.”

     Still another piece entitled, “Trooth in Media – Obama’s Shadow Government Sabotage (https://liberalsbackwardsthink.com),” explains that, “Trump will never make America great again if Obama and his Democrat media have anything to do with it.  Before leaving office, Obama is sabotaging Trump and setting the stage to be the turd floating in Trump’s soup.  His allies, the Leftists in media, will be the relentless Gestapo propaganda arm of Obama’s anti-American shadow government.  They are acting in concert with Obama to make certain Trump cannot restore America to greatness.”  The author of the piece accurately opines that, “Making America great again is not what the Leftarts want to see – ever!  In their world America must continue to be cut down in decline, her wealth squandered and distributed to her enemies, and her people rendered ignorant and parasitic beneath the Democrat yoke.”  The piece concludes that, “Eight years of Obamaism and ten years of Democrat policies have left America in a shambles with a weak economy, a weak military, a disintegrating social structure, and a foreign policy that has set the world on fire.  Democrats have enabled criminals to run rampant and foreign invaders to not only pour over America’s borders, but to infest Europe.”

     This is exactly and precisely what those on the Far Left have done and will continue to do.  They understand that President Trump wants to reverse the damage they have purposely inflicted on our country and this they simply cannot have.  They will do everything and anything to sabotage President Trump’s efforts to restore America to greatness.  For those of you out there who viewed Trump’s victory as a signal that the Far Left among us has finally been defeated, you’d better think again.  Those on the Far Left led by citizen Obama will never, ever stop trying to destroy this country.
